  1. I wouldn't run the pineapple as a router either. Also not what it's made for.
  2. I'd never run kali as a router, it's not what it's made for. It's not secured properly for a router. Any router os will be better, even stock d-stink, I mean d-link.
  3. Which chromebook? I don't think all of them will boot linux.
  4. Install any linux distro you like and install the apps you need. It really is that simple.
  5. Good luck, it's going to take a very long time.
  6. It's been working for the US for years!
  7. Hahahahahaha, someone threw one up on ebay with a starting bid at $400!
  8. Here's your problem. From the command line run, /etc/init.d/network-manager stop Then run, ifconfig eth0 172.16.42.42/24 Now run your wp5.sh script, then try connecting.

  10. Heh, I met Captian Crunch 5 or 6 years ago at a DefCon bbq. Cool dude. Little out there sometimes though.
  11. Some of us have a shit ton of movies through them though.
  12. This. Been meaning to try it with mine, but haven't scrounged up the adapter cables yet. You'll need a hdmi to micro female hdmi adapter. Hak5 sold a few of these in the store once, but I missed out on getting them. Just looked, they link to the adapter cable on the amazon page.
  13. MrProtocol did this at this year's Derbycon with his pineapple. He was running pineap with harvester. https://github.com/Mr-Protocol/DerbyCon_WarWalking
  14. I find it weird that it didn't come with one of those usb adapters. I have a clone of one of this radio and it came with a dual powered usb cable.
  15. They are on my wish list for the house to barn wifi link. Currently I'm using a pineapple mk3 flashed back to the alfa firmware with a big ass panel antenna in the barn for a link. I'm all for making your own, but at this price for a known good implimentation, it's kind of a no-brainer.
  16. Get two of these and be done with it. http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B014S1JJVM/ref=mp_s_a_1_18?qid=1445891710&sr=8-18&pi=SL75_QL70&keywords=ubiquiti
  17. I use a cluster of fitbits I've pw0ned over the last year to do it. No, not really, would be funny though.
