thisisftg
Is there a way to make a xbox playing halo 2 act as like a score board for a LAN party instead of pressing the "Back" button on the controller. This could be projected on a wall with a projector for everybody who is playing to see everybodys score. ???? FTG

thisisftg
i have a start because my xbox is already modded... , if that would help in any way?
Famicoman
There almost has to be a modded profile out there that will just display the score and nothing else. The problem would be not being able to spectate. it would actually have to play...
golfing22
You could always somehow mod a xbox controller so that it will somehow hold down the back key all the time, and then you could just set up another xbox and add the player into the game. thisisftg
i dont want the players to be able to see the scoreboard players name or even know it exists so we can still have 16 players on system link and not 15 because of the scoreboard taking up a player space on the multiplayer game... Sparda
You are probably going to have to ask microsoft to do this... at least legally.

thisisftg
Why would Microsoft/Bungie help me infrenge copyrights and restrictions that they set in place to keep me from hacking halo 2 and the xbox
Sparda
Well that's the point... if it was MS that made the 'mod' it wouldn't be illegal.
thisisftg
hmmm its a good idea but if they were to do something like this i would probley have to wait until halo 3 for them to put them in

Bill The Man
Why do you need a score board any way. If you really want to know the score that bad just look in your lower right hand corner of the screen and it will tell you your score and the person who is in firsts score. Spectators can then just go to a screen and see who is in the lead then. Think smart not complicated.
thisisftg
this project is just for fun not to replace anything... so complicated is more fun, for me at least...
