OtterFox
Not bad huh? Although im not touching blueRay with a ten foot poll :) Whats wrong with blue-ray? It has more storage capacity than HD-DVD, that has to be good.
rFayjW98ciLoNQLDZmFRKD
Blu-rau and HD-DVD would be great for data storage, but for high def video, it doesn't impress me. A good upscaling dvd player looks just as good as them, and costs less.
renegadecanuck
I highly doubt you can take a DVD and use an extra $100 box to make it look HD quality for every movie. You sound like a VHS user when DVDs came out "VHS looks good enough, I can eject and keep my spot and it's cheaper" No offence of course. psychoaliendog
I don't think thats fake, Sony said that the Linux will be on the PS3 Hard drive and they said you could install any other OS you want as well. http://www.joystiq.com/2006/05/16/sony-to-...h-linux-on-ps3/
Guest ABC
is there any linuxes for the ps2 that anyone knews of?
Sparda
Ye, sony makes one. It's not that good though. I mean, it's there own distribution. compiling software from source is pretty impossible since the architecture of the PS2 is completely different to any other computer. cooper
I thought the bad thing about the PS2 Linux was that it disabled the CD drive, and possibly even the network adapter. Saying it was useless would be an understatement.
mubix
Out of the box Linux abilities.... wow. Nex-gen console war over. Call back the tripods.
