Darren did mention its using a newer dd-wrt image, and we can see he redid the user interface. All the mk3 has done is transfer the MiTM stuff to the router, as far as I can tell. I think according to Alfa the iMesh51 and the AP51 are the same. I'm not sure if the support was sick of me asking questions and just said "Yes" or if they really are lol.
