The easiest way to get mp3 from pandora is either get pandora one or use the pandora client i wrote (on the latest builts, saver2 menu -> launch pandora client). thats kinda cute cuz i have an iphone i want the opisit to happen... it seems like my client is stuck in nabbing it in mp3 format and i want m4a format instead. i tried downloading a new client and still got the same issue :-S Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

It's a bit loopy to change encoding so it's easier to just tell it to give mp3 and so it gives 128kbs for regular subscribers or 192 for pandora one. if you want m4a you'll have to use the regular flash client. I assume it is downloading the file during this time. It takes about 15 to 20 seconds for the bar to fill completely, then it moves to the next song. When a song comes on that has already been ripped, the bar still takes ~20 seconds to fill before moving on to the next song. I assumed it was downloading it again. I would rather it not take the ~20 seconds and to just move to the next song right away, as if I clicked the "skip" button in the Pandora GUI. The issue is that I have ripped ~600 songs and now there are not that many new songs being saved. I assume Pandora is giving me a lot of songs I have already ripped, so my song collection is growing very slowly. It will be _very_ slow to get more unless you seed it or make new stations. How long the progress bar takes to fill depends on how long PS thinks that downloading will take - or, if the song already exists, it is set to 15s (the shortest time possible when using regular pandora) 15, 20, 30, 60, 180 are the specific times, based on average download speeds of the last 3 songs. If the song already exists, it's not getting re-downloaded, but it can't just skip it outright. Previously, it was 5s for known songs (and the minimum estimate) however this was causing problems with pandora tempbanning you. This is quite a hack and results in thousands and thousands of zero byte files. I was hoping you could alter the duplicate checking to check the entire tree starting with %SAVE_FOLDER%\. Eventually I would like to be able to hand it a text file with tens of thousands of songs and have it cross-reference against those, but I understand that's probably a distant project. Diskspace goes pretty quickly so as I listen to music I either move it to another drive to save it or I reset its file size to zero. I usually listen in batches, so it's easier to keep sessions sorted by radio station, listen through what the radio station produces, and then zero the file sizes. Unfortunately, I'm having a bit of an issue: after I listen for a short while (and I mean like 15 minutes), I don't get any new songs sniffed. I can restart the programs over and over, and I can't get it to sniff another song from Grooveshark until I restart my entire computer. The odd thing is that Slacker will still work just fine. Yes ( to mp3 files) Go into saver2 settings, select wait for approval, hit ok. then open pandora settings and select only download thumbs up songs (Something like that).
