jbb Posted November 26, 2009 Share Posted November 26, 2009 Hi, I think this is really an awesome program, but after getting windows 7 and a new laptop because the old one broke I am now getting an error when using the pandora player functions that has the converting it says "Playback Error: check mplayer(pipe failure)" Your program seems to still work excellent in everything else I have used except I liked this for the converting feature. Make sure your proxy (is that tor? i don't recognize the port) properly registers as in the US. Try http://www.ip-adress.com/ in your browser, setup to use that proxy. If you need http proxy auth, I'd recommend looking at chaining with privoxy and having that do the auth. It's a bit of a dirty trick, but it should work. HTTP [squid] http proxies definitely support authentication. I'll tke a look at the link. Ah, yeah, i saw that code the first time i tried. It's worth a shot. Probably shouldn't post when half asleep that post was really ambiguous :P Uploaded a version which implements basic auth as in that post. Give it a shot. There are a lot of us that'd be happy to contribute to the code. I'm sure there's a way you could do that and still get contributions in some way. Not sure how, but I'm sure there's a way. Actually, I plan on making at least parts of this open source (went and posted a bit yesterday actually mostly plugin stuff). The only way that it works is when I click the "Pandora Client" between the File and Saver2 button. However, I use Grooveshark just as much and would like to use Saver2 for this site as well. My first guess is that I possibly have the wrong port in the config? 8888 is what it has been set to by default. I checked my flash version and the .NET framework and they are both up to date. This one has a config file included which causes a bunch of dirty hacks to be done to improve functionality under wine. If it is failing to do XMLRPC, it sounds like this mode isn't enabled. Alternatively, go into advanced settings and set "DebugLevel" to 100. SProxy's main window will have "Running in wine hacks mode" if it is enabled.
