  1. I do not want to add a idiotic comment to this Debate but... What is a Anonymous group doing on a public board... if anyone was listening they said they had private forums... there boards are public :-?
  2. http://img250.imageshack.us/img250/6610/adfs2.gif http://img254.imageshack.us/img254/7519/adns8.gif Posted/Source - http://www.k0h.org/blog/?p=30 Digg it - http://digg.com/software/SMF_Beta_2_Images_Leaked Wow well they have clearly made serious improvements. From what I have heard they are just sorting out a couple (yes theres a few) of bugs. It should be released shortly and I cannot wait. I know these images are not fake because I have been on these guys "egadforums" and they are definitely running SMF2. Yet again proves to show that OpenSource prevails. I mean I have seen a couple of guys who have modded there SMF boards to be twice as good as Vbulletin and that is not exaggerating it.
  3. You do not live in the USA I am guessing. Kids are more mature in other countries... schools are more accepting :D
  4. Supposedly he ran a small dog rape/bondage cartel (notice I haven't read the news).

Here I hope this helps. http://securitydot.net/txt/id/18942/type/vuln/
  6. Well I do not want to start a flame war but Linux is not as Vulnerable not only because there is not as many users. I know that you are saying my statement was very exclusive since I said as if I think Linux is invulnerable which I do not. I do think that it is less vulnerable than Windows mainly because of the smaller amount of users on Linux. I know I sound like a Linux jihadist but I honestly believe that Linux is built better... I am not going to go further because again I do not wish to start a flame war.
  7. DROP all -- ip.ad.dre.ss ? Anyone have a full list of every P2P and Govt. IP address? write up a little script the polls the list that PG2 uses I am currently modifying the source code of "MoBlock" which is something I found on PG2's site. Written in C... basically uses IpTables to block out IP's from a user-defined list.

  9. Hehe, lol I remember the days where I had to worry about AV software well thats a different topic. On topic - I personally recommend Avast (Personal edition) many AV softwares are known to "hog ram" or be generally "system resource hogs" but this is not on average it takes up about 20-40mbs of Ram. I do not want to stir anything up but its my personal opinion and has been for a while that Windows security is basically a joke. Since you do not have switching to Linux in the future just pick out something like Avast or AVG as your AV and keep updated. No offense towards Windows users.
  10. For those of you that do not know what PG2 is - "PeerGuardian 2 is Phoenix Labs’ premier IP blocker for Windows. PeerGuardian 2 integrates support for multiple lists, list editing, automatic updates, and blocking all of IPv4 (TCP, UDP, ICMP, etc), making it the safest and easiest way to protect your privacy on P2P." Only problem is its Windows only. Is there any application like this on *nix?
  11. yeah but the hat part is just temp , i can change it to wotever, just put that in for fun :P and yeah its an old spare drive, i keep the switchblade on it ... got an 2GB U3 cruzer aswell on wich i have the hacksaw... I forgot what I bought my 2GB U3 drive for but it was under $15, microcenter has had a bulk sale of them for a while. I run a local PC repair/Help business so I keep commonly needed repair tools etc... on there.
  12. The hat looks as if its cut off from one point. Must be a old drive to have a max 62mb on it :|
  13. Not everyone has Perl installed on there server, I know about CGIProxy but I did not recommend it because most public proxy sites use PHProxy.
  14. Thank you. I will study it today.
  15. How are your IPtables set up. I would like to see a secure configuration from someone so I could get a idea of one. Currently on the default IPtables configuration. Anyone have any tips they know of from experience. I am studying IPtables from this guide - link
  16. Bash shell (Terminal) Firefox Amarok VLC Pidgin Nano gFtp Not top ten but thats the applications I use on a daily basis.
  17. Very good work. Old school things like this will always live, good to see these things.
  18. Well the only problems with doing this is that Windows will take up lots of space on the USB and booting a OS from a USB drive is very slow so do not expect to get much work done. No offense to Windows users but I would personally wish to install a small Linux distro onto a USB drive instead of Windows.
  19. The software used is called PHProxy, Here is the sourceforge page http://sourceforge.net/projects/poxy/
  20. Usually what many do is to set "Bandwidth Allocation" to the lowest priority for Utorrent, this normally shan't lower your Download speed very much. I suggest this site - http://portforward.com/ Look for your modem/router model there and follow the detailed pictures layed out for you in the instructions. If you have trouble with this feel free to ask. Generally you would connect to your Modem/Router by finding out the "Default Gateway" then inputing the address to your URL bar through your browser. To do this simply - Click on the "Start" button, hit "Run", input into run "cmd" without the quotation marks and manually type "ipconfig" without the quotes. The numbers beside the text "Default Gateway" will be the address of your router/modem. I do not know the model of your specific router/modem so please use portforward.com.
  21. I visited these forums 2 years ago. I was a immature child at the time, I have matured greatly in this 2 year time period. I hope to be accepted after this time. Thank you.
