i had this problem last week, it kept happing at school, i rebooted twice and it was fine. so maybe just ignore it and try again later, that usually fixes most computer problems for me.

mml, is this a recent thing? Maybe the hacksaw got a little too much attention... has anyone else had this problem before a month or so ago? I use ZoneAlarm suite and have had no such problems.

ive been meaning to expirement with BSD. I started duel booting mandriva/windows a few months ago and have acclimated myself to linux. it would be nice to replace windows with BSD... I dont play games so not much need for windows. :D
