just found an excellent tutorial

man learning java is effort lol but i have some controls working now struggling a little calling layouts ... any help appreciated

im on pay as you go (this is my business number) ... need to transfer this to a contract sim ... but i can buy data allowance when i top up :D so its all good and on another note i got the SDK & IDE up and running & managed to get hellodroid running in the emulator havnt tried to run any code on my phone yet but will keep you lot updated ;)

yeah im trying to get a good sim only deal atm i disabled 3g and my credit seems to be intact :D going to start developing something for it soon ... but tbh there are soooooo many apps im going to have to think carefully to produce something unique

wow cheers dude thanks for testing :) i know some of the key presses arnt being detected properly like the backspace and enter keys etc ... but tbh i havnt looked @ this for a few months .... if you get the kill switch working pls post your code ;)

I tried my best to get a motorolla android but orange dont supply them so ... i just ordered an xperia x10 i've been watching some video's on the sony x10 they all say it runs droid v1.6 and the current version is 2.0 will this affect me in any way when i start to develop apps for it ? and another question can any one tell me why the android os is superior to the iphone os ? (in terms of features/specifications/pros/cons) any help / advice / words of any sort appreciated Safe DrTrip

do you mean your external ip ? usually the routers handles all requests from your external ip and the router assigns local ip's for each machine connected run cmd n type ipconfig this will tell you the ip of your machine i doubt the router would be able to route without ips

magnetic fail :) they have their weaknesses im sure a 1tb solid state drive would be more reliable

i havnt got konboot to work yet ... i keep getting a 'double bios detected' message when i try and boot then it wont let me past the login screen :( any help would be appreciated .... have been using it on xp sp3

i suppose you can only run their distribution but would most def be cool for games i wonder if anyones ported ubuntu ... that would be +1

yeah i have an ipod touch but never use it b/c that involves itunes ... its a good 32gb alarm clock / phone book :D im getting an andriod in the next few weeks so im not to bothered either way

yeah this would be tough i bet all the login field id's are different then you'd somehow have to map the router ... get the make and model then reference a db/list of default username & pwds although you could control software based firewalls that run through command line like ufw on linux but you'd still have the hardware to negotiate
