lol i dont know what they're using as av on the server (im running avast atm) ... im sure they have contacted the people that program phpbb and reported this problem if i find any more information ill let you guys know. .... i was going to post when they first got attacked but they took the site down and 'seemed' to have sorted it out but it happened again yesterday so im presuming these 'hackers' have another route into the server n e way ill keep you updated

they are running phpbb and keep getting attacked http://dubstepforum.com/ avast is detecting and blocking malware but they are struggling to find the source / block this attack im all ears for any suggestions *seems to have stopped* ill screen grab the error avast throws ... i think its a dodgy ad server tbh tho

im going to give this a go ... we should compile a completely free & open image with numerous configurations for 4gb, 8gb and 16gb i know it takes the fun out of making your own but would be a cool file worthy of a torrent and also if anyone else suffers the same loss as me there would be a simple option for creating another multipass im dreading having to edit the grub config again lol :) ... some copying and pasting in order lol

lol ... i didn't mean to sound like that i was merely stating the consequences he faced hacking something less expensive crashing a satellite is a little more severe than a pc sniffing data is different tho

i used www.mamma.com before google it was pretty reliable and returned good results. saying that google will be pwning soon .... have you seen google TV yet ? will be running android yey ! :D

i usually use dlink 530 tx's they're so reliable but v oldskool seriously considering this router option (latest vid) i may add some network points around the home would be a nice project + id learn how to wire cat5

excellent replies and pretty speedy too lol :D ... im only running 2/3 pc's and my phone .... although when i install my kitchen and security cam server i think ill have the 2 main pc's wired and the security cam and kitchen pc on wireless :) ill let u know how it goes if any of my games lag ill be switching back

Im currently debating doing away with my wired network connections. Will i notice any difference in reliability / speed ? im running WPA2 with a pretty secure pass so i doubt anyone would hack my network should i do it ? comments please

fail :( need to rebuild .... saying that i just tried to format it and it wont let me so im beginning to think the drive is fucked :( damn it update : drive is mashed :( ... tried rewriting the MBR but no joy ... and windows seems to think its 8mb lol ... (its a 8gb) GUTTED

ok ... linux isnt detecting it ... going to give testdisk a go
