And guess what that's what I've done in the past I have installed my OEM version, several times on different computers and many times all I had to do was ring up Microsoft and have to speak to an automated voice, all they do is ask for a string of generated serial numbers and once you have entered them on your phone keypad, they will generate a new serial number and hand it over the phone to u. Thats as simple as it is. Or you could use key grabber/finder to rip the serial key from another working machine. Fuck Microsoft licenses, they really annoy me. And I am cheap so I always look for cheap solutions.

I don't think it would firefox though, it would definitely be a bug on their website coding somewhere.
  3. Linksys has some good web cameras, and with good video quality and above all some of their cameras are cheap too. Like this one, http://www.linksysbycisco.com/ANZ/en/products/Cameras

OEM is a lot cheaper than the Retail version, see if you can buy it from Ebay should be a lot cheaper.
  5. I knew what CEH stood for, not GIAC but thanks for that, much appreciated.
  6. I know I shouldn't and you are correct but I am just helping them out a tiny bit.
  7. Hi Will-WTF, BitMeter 2 and Bandwidth Monitor Lite are both freeware bandwidth monitoring tools. I have used it in the past and works pretty well, in determining how much bandwidth has been consumed.
  8. That's what I thought and was right on, wireshark would be able to see all traffic from the SSH server to the internet, but not what's in between the client and the SSH server. Thanks for sharing that.
  9. Sorry for my ignorance, what does GAIC stands for?

When you changed the settings what settings did you actually change? The https to http settings?
  11. That's gonna bit a little bit tricky, to get the client to accept the certificate and also to overcome the browser certificate warning issue. There's got to be a way to achieve that, but I am not 100% sure on how to. May be other users in these forums have a solution for this issue.
  12. Hi lostfiringpin, Just for information, I found some videos on TSgrinder.exe on youtube. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_AiaQTbWuro
  13. You are right, SSLStrip only works with Linux. But there has been some discussions on running SSLStrip on windows. http://www.hak5.org/forums/index.php?showtopic=15291
  14. That's cool dude, I was just messing too.
  15. That's when Google comes in, when you can't find your notes. And most of all the experience.
  16. How did you come down to that assumption. Wouldn't the whole web site be down if it was DDOS.
  17. If I am not mistaken I think the latest version of Comodo firewall comes with some sort of IDS as part of its security measures. Which will alert to you of anything that tries to alter the system files or registry.
  18. How about the N97 performance in general. Any good?
  19. Just upload the picture into this thread.
  20. As long as these tools are installed on the computer, where SSH is running you should be able to capture any information that is passing along. Wireshark may not be able to look at https traffic itself, but ethercap is capable of since its a suite for man in the middle attacks. You should also do a bit of reading on sslstrip, I think it may come handy at some stage. Ethercap: http://ettercap.sourceforge.net/ Wireshark: http://www.wireshark.org/
  21. If you want to get a taste of some of the hacking tools, here are a list. You might want to do a bit of research before using them Hydra Tsgrinder Nmap NetCat MD5 Word's fastest password cracker Ophcrack Hiren's Boot CD Netstumbler Backtrack 4 Kismet PwdDump Cain and Abel WireShark Can't think of anymore.
  22. I know different operating system, but apart from the OS. Is the N97 any good in general terms.
  23. There's a chance if the server has been patched up, tsgrinder may not work properly.
  24. By the way, I have found this nice tutorial on using Tsgrinder, it should make things easier to understand. http://www.ethicalhacker.net/content/view/106/24/
  25. Ohh, i think what your problem is, is that you have not specified any ip address for the remote host. Example: tsgrinder.exe -w "password file" -u administrator -n 4 172.0.0.1 Let me know how you go
