  1. Yep, just give us your ip address, then I could brute force your router, and make my way into your home computers.
  2. I know of a very good wireless adapter, but it's not PCMCIA/PCMCIA Express. It's a USB. And its capable of Packet injection as well as raw monitoring. In addition its compatible with BT.
  3. I am already using it and its great.

  6. There are plenty of open source tools, for brute forcing FTP, HTTP and other type of services. I myself managed to find several tools and its really fun. I am now brute forcing my own virtual machines. Hydra is one of them, it can brute force FTP, HTTP and other online based services. But I would really recommend you to do some reading on how to use it first. In addition, you might want to try to use this tool on a virtual machine, as it could trig your anti-virus software and you won't have much fun with it.
  7. Awesome stuff guys, really appreciate. Will keep on reading more....
  8. By the way if you are just trying to install putty but unable to, because of system restrictions. Try using the portable version of putty. All you have to do is run the application itself, there's no installation required and it can be easily run off any USB drive. You can find it at http://portableapps.com/apps/internet/putty_portable
  9. Cool, Just what I needed to take my neighbor's online web database offline. Nah, I was just kidding. Will have a play with it tonight. Cheers,
  10. I think this is what you are looking for, it works well with Windows as well as Linux, but the price may intimidate you. http://www.cacetech.com/products/turbocap.html
  11. Should be interesting, can't wait to see.
  12. I think you should consider, upgrading your computer's wireless adapter, to something like the one below. http://www.alfa.com.tw/in/front/bin/ptdeta...Category=105463 That will definitely improve the wireless signal strength.
  13. By the way, where I live the internet is slow as shit "Australia" I have a 24mgbits connection, and I only get an average of 1.5 to 2.0 not fast enough for me, and i live quite close to the exchange. Will give Ophcrack a try. Thank you very much.
  14. Hi fearanphoist, You can self generate a certificate and place in your website. But the problem with that is, your browser will give off warning messages about it not being legitimate, I would recommend you purchase one from a trusted source like Comodo or Verisign Check out these links for more details. http://www.comodo.com/business-security/di...es/free-ssl.php http://www.verisign.com.au/
  15. Your computer mac address could conflict with the other computer's mac address on the network, because they are the same, so you want to try something else.
  16. Have you tried doing a search throughout your computer, using the built in windows search functionality. You might also wanna try using something like this, when doing the search *.png, .jpg.
  17. I know exactly what you are talking about, I've been in your position once, so all I can suggest is if you don't understand something, do what I would normally do, research on the web or read books about it, I know it can be boring and a waste of time, but that pays off. And this is exactly what I do, when I don't understand something especially when I am watching Hack5 show. I have a very good knowledge with networking, and servers so I do understand most of what they talk on the show.

  19. Hi, Thank you very much for the responses. Basically, this is what i am doing, I currently have a XP pro running in a VM. I have used pwddump to extract the hashes out of my virtual XP box. And I have tried using the world's fastest MD5 hash cracker but with no results. So after doing some research on the net, discovered that windows uses Des for encrypting the passwords.
  20. Hi, I did a bit of digging on the net, but could not find much info about tools for cracking Des encryption. Is there a such tool, if there is could you please hit me with a web link. Thank you very much
