    It isn't. That's the problem ;)

    Some advice

Ubuntu does to much for you... You need to get your hands dirty some times.. For example I spent the last few hours fixing X display manager, God dam bitch had a heart attack. But now I'm so happy that the problem is gone!
  3. Don't get me started on Debian.. Red hat is where the big boys go to play. RHEL - Developer Support CentOS - Stable Fedora - Bleeding edge Pick one.

Make sure you have SElinux and that's it, You don't need anything other then the default advance firewall. Also don't use Ubuntu you're better off with Windows. Ubuntu is a script kiddie low life OS. Or at least "upgrade" yourself to another distro (Whatever sound better)

    I got hacked!

Or just ask him? Straight up just ask if he's piggy backing.
  7. If you're going to use Ubuntu stick with Windows, You already have a legit license for Windows (Don't lye!) Go get some balls and download a real Linux-GNU distro.

    I doser

Gonna go & try this out now..
  9. Of course there is.. But not the way you want to.. Stop watching Hollywood movies that include hacking.. (Eg. Most of them :P) Just install a SSH daemon onto the target host & go nuts.\ And don't use Ubuntu either.
  10. You wont need to use a hex editor in the current password stage.
  11. Just because a port is open doesn't mean a daemon/service is listening..
  12. Just install a SSH daemon. Then fuck with him.
  13. How about you install FreeBSD on it & overwrite any other partitions? That would piss him off :P (And don't install X!!!)
  14. File hasn't been modified in any way, The password is pretty easy. Considering you haven't guess what "ten under score" is I'll tell ya.. The password has ten characters including one underscore.
  15. Yes, I was hoping someone new a of a advance defragging program able to run from a live CD or dedicated to just defragging. (Note I say advance & not GParted etc etc)
  16. Who said ten underscore was a phrase?
  17. Nope, Looking for a program which doesn't require a current OS to be used.
  18. You've got all the info you need, The password is very simple & I wasn't expecting It to be the main focus. Some of the file names may be hints also..
  19. Hello, I'm looking for a good defragging program which can defrag at boot. Thanks
  20. Maybe the Base64 string I provided before was a hint to the password? And there's no numbers by the way ;)

    Fedora, RAID0

Hello, I have a general "poweruser" experience with Linux & Unix in general, And with my new system coming along I'll be using a RAID0 array. I'd like to know the difficultly setting this up during the installing of the OS, I'll be using a onboard RAID controller that comes with the Asus P5Q Pro motherboard the controller's name is ICH10R. Thanks
  22. That's a clue, And to anyone who might have contacted me, No I will not provide the password.
  23. I prefer a stable machine & not having to update every 6 months, And CentOS unlike Ubuntu doesn't bring out "bleeding edge" updates which I'll refer to as compulsory public alphas.
