Make sure you have SElinux and that's it, You don't need anything other then the default advance firewall. Also don't use Ubuntu you're better off with Windows. Ubuntu is a script kiddie low life OS. Or at least "upgrade" yourself to another distro (Whatever sound better)

If you're going to use Ubuntu stick with Windows, You already have a legit license for Windows (Don't lye!) Go get some balls and download a real Linux-GNU distro.

Of course there is.. But not the way you want to.. Stop watching Hollywood movies that include hacking.. (Eg. Most of them :P) Just install a SSH daemon onto the target host & go nuts.\ And don't use Ubuntu either.

You wont need to use a hex editor in the current password stage.

Hello, I have a general "poweruser" experience with Linux & Unix in general, And with my new system coming along I'll be using a RAID0 array. I prefer a stable machine & not having to update every 6 months, And CentOS unlike Ubuntu doesn't bring out "bleeding edge" updates which I'll refer to as compulsory public alphas.
