    Netbios Hacking

Dam... I got the wrong one..
  2. Just setup a SSH daemon on the host which you'll connect to outside your network, Then once you configure it etc simply using the attribute -D "PORT" and set your browser to use that port as a SOCK proxy. Some minor configuration needs to be done to the SSH daemon.
  3. X reads the configuration file located at /etc/X11/xorg.conf (Most distros) Which will decide various settings one being the driver used. Section "Device" Identifier "Device0" Driver "nvidia" VendorName "NVIDIA Corporation" EndSection Try changing that to vesa (Or VSA/vsa)
  4. Couldn't you just setup a SSH tunnel? I SSH to a outside Shell account for web traffic.
  5. Just install Fedora and get It over & done with. Personally I've never dipped that deep into GRUB, I might now thought but most of the time if there's a problem It was caused by a simple typo.
  6. Take a look at the source of It all, Your not going to learn much from the marketing words of Dingle.
  7. Well I'm sure the trial will be a great success (In the Governments eyes) And they'll put it in full force & see hundreds of millions of dollars gone to waste. Trial & Error bitch.
  8. Not sure how that relates directly to this thread, Seems like a public todo list which I didn't need to here about.

Well I'm a Pidgin user, So I'm not being biased. Google is.
  10. Hahah! I've done that a few times.. 8-)
  11. Most games are backwards compatible with Directx 9 so just stick with that until Wine has library support for Directx10, I'm presuming you have a valid Windows license in use so stick with that. If you don't pay for a product (indirectly & directly) don't complain about features which take massive amounts of time to implement. Suggest them!
  12. Well try get some sponsors/investors then, Artwork is a big part of the game before even touching the concepts. You'll want a professional job done. You have the underhand in the world where the game market makes more then "Hollywood"
  13. Well I don't spend hours looking at my desktop, I also have multiple windows open at any given time so It's annoying to minimise them all just to click a icon on my desktop. Yes I understand there's multiple ways to minimise all the windows in one click but that's annoying & not my default habit.

    Building a NAS?

Look in the classifieds of your local newspapers for a cheap PC, You really don't need something that powerful to run a NAS OS.

    Mail Server

Might aswell get a cheap VPS then, & If you live in the US you probably have "unlimited" bandwidth so turn It into a remote file backup.
  16. Well there's nothing wrong with reinstalling your OS every 6/12 months.
  17. Well test the disc first, They provide multiple method of hash comparing. Ubuntu isn't going to teach you a single drop of knowledge, Get something designed for a power user. Of course this is my opinion and doesn't warrant a need for 100s of people to reply.

    Mail Server

I'd recommend you host It yourself, But whatever gets the job done. I prefer qmail over postfix or sendmail.
