CaveMan Posted January 5, 2007 Posted January 5, 2007 well, i got extremely bored so for the last 2 and a half hours i was googling all my e-mail address's my names i used on games and so forth what i figured out was i can find my home address, but not my last name :P Quote
Sparda Posted January 5, 2007 Posted January 5, 2007 That's a dangerous thing to do from home, you are basically telling Google every thing about your self... Quote
jool Posted January 5, 2007 Posted January 5, 2007 I'm just waiting for Google's "So personal it's creepy" search service, where I can ask it where I put my keys or ask it for the names of the people I met yesterday. Quote

CaveMan Posted January 6, 2007 Author Posted January 6, 2007 gmail has a legendary user interface if it was converted to squirrel mail (or similar) it would be legendary :P Quote
VaKo Posted January 6, 2007 Posted January 6, 2007 Thats the thing, you open MSN Live! mail and its full of banner adverts. Which is a damn shame because if it wasn't for them it would be a lot better. But its still nothing compared to the Gmail interface. There are adverts, but I really don't notice them, and when i look for them it takes awhile to find them. Quote
W4RP3D Posted January 6, 2007 Posted January 6, 2007 I just googled my name and apparently (no word of the a lie this is the honest truth) Someone with the same name as me was born 28th of September 1841, the weird thing is the 28th of September is my actual birthday. Quote
PoyBoy Posted January 6, 2007 Posted January 6, 2007 Gmail kicks ass, and i dont have anything to hide in my emails, so i use gmail Quote

You see, if we get only just over 20 people, from say over the last 200 years who have had the same name as you (i reckon that wouldn't really be quite that difficult to do) the chances that 2 of those 20 or so people have a birthday on the same day is ~50%. it the birthday problem. so don't be too worried Quote
