Jimmy86
Not sure if the firmware upgrade is working either even following the instructions step-by-step. I might have newest version but not certain.

digininja
From your spam report it looks like you've fixed the problem, please update the thread with the fix to complete the circle.
Jimmy86
In armed mode i have access to SSH and internet access and i have eth0 and eth1. When i attempt to start in switch1 with tcpdump its not working to SSH, internet and its not recording. The LED is blinking red, green, blue, "off". I have tried using drive in ext4, NTFS and fat32 without success.
biob
It won’t work with SSH in mode 1. It acts as a passive bridge, therefore no IP address! Also have you got the ports the correct way around? doesnt support Fat32.
Jimmy86
Now I have tried many different combinations with ports and filesystems. The problem seem to be ext4, its only working with NTFS.
biob
Did you use the command on the PS to format to ext4?
biob
Have you at least looked on the Hak5 PS start page?

biob
Might be worth noting some memory sticks don’t play nice with the PS. Do you have any others that you can try?
jsbkh
I just got my PS earlier this week and I have tried two different usb sticks and I get the same pattern. Did you have any luck fixing this issue?
Phil Fergie
I bought a sandisk as my older drive wouldn’t work - this one works perfectly
jsbkh
Yeah I found my fourth USB worked which was a sandisk. I also had used a power supply that didn't provide enough power to power the fourth drive, but seemed to want to work. Once I used more than 500ma it worked. Are there any small form factor USB drives that are known to work with the PS? I don't want to order one to only find it doesn't work. Thanks. Sebkinne
Upgrade to v1.2 of the firmware - this should increase USB comparability :)
Jimmy86
SSH to PS and run the tool "reformat_usb" to format to ext4. Otherwise try NTFS and if its not working try change network port.
