golfing22
don't forget to setup an ssh server at home, and put putty on your usb key and configure mobile firefox to use the ssh tunnel.

SmoothCriminal
Well if your school network is any decent it won't work. I know at my school it will not. You will not have enough privileges.

maddog
If you want to have the same firefox bookmarks/settings at home and on your portable firefox, you could use a browser sync extension. This can really save you a lot of time and energy this way and make things a lot easier on yourself. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Comparison_of...r_synchronizers

maddog
If they gave you the admin password, then why are you trying to hack it? http://www.hak5.org/forums/viewtopic.php?t=4145
Guest K1u
Dood theres really no point in fucking up the school PCs go mess with other peoples PCs i mean that is unless you want to be expelled :P
SmoothCriminal
I wouldnt really call it hacking if u have the password. And no u didn't have the password.

True but its probably not what they wanted you to do with the password i mean no offense bommaboy2789 but someone who talks in this noobish way and asks extremely basic questions usually would not be gave the privilege to the school administrators password again no offense
Guest ABC
renaming it to explorer.exe didn't work, neither dose iexplorer .. hmm
SmoothCriminal
Renaming it to explorer.exe didnt work for me either. I just tryed it today. I hope we find some way to get it to work, my options of bypassing the school filter are extremely limited. Most of my old ways of getting around it are gone, they wised up to me. Sometimes doing searches in different languages work, but that usually doesnt work either. I hope we can find a way to get this working. My only other option is bringing in my laptop and hacking into the network, but that would defeat the point.
Guest K1u
After winter break i might try to take the IE from there PCs putting it on my flash drive and disassembling it to see where the blocks are but i am pretty sure for you other guys its the firewall thats blocking those sites
SomeoneE1se
just renaming it to explorer.exe might not be enough because the real name of "explorer.exe" is "WINDOWSexplorer.exe" try that if it works let me know.
