  1. I tried it, but it wouldn't detect my tvtuner. I think i need to have a configuration tool first. Orb has a built in one, but i need something that can stream to ustream or something similar.
  2. I'm trying to use my dell angel USB tv tuner to capture either RCA or coaxial input from an older camera for use on UStream. Orb picks up the camera nicely after I set it up for an RCA or coaxial connection. However, if I try to use it in skype or on ustream it will not let me change inputs. Any ideas?

    Broken 360

It would be so much better if you could install linux to the 360 over the network... :-( Only options you really have now with stock Operating system is turn it into a media receiver with tversity or orb or play some XBLA games.

    Broken 360

alright, so my friends 360 is out of warranty and has a broken DVD drive. It will basically spin up but will not read anything. So I thought I might try to put linux on it but all of the guides require me to have a dvd drive. Is there any way t orun it via usb or ethernet? what should i do with this broken 360?
  5. The wii has a few good games and thats about it. But if they ever start to release some good games, im set. I soft modded it for "backups" and wiibrew.org has alot of cool stuff for it. I'll admit i want better games. But hey, im getting them free.

Make a friend who works at Gamestop. They can borrow games from the store for 4 days. I do it all the time at my store. :-p

If you're going to want to play classic games, why not softmod your wii and run games of the SD card? wiibrew.org has all the info you need to know when it comes to wii homebrew. Check it out. It's a great alternative to the virtual console except when it comes to n64 games.
  8. I agree. It would make an interesting segment as well. I recently compiled a list of websites that stream live tv to the internet and created a quick and dirty application to make them easily accessible. Seems like a great project. keep me updated.
  9. I work at gamestop and have a nintendo wifi adapter on hold for me. $16.60 with my discount. I might possibly be able to send it to u for testing, as long as i could get it back :-p
  10. will this only be for the Fon or would it be possible to put this on any router? better yet... could we do this alongside the nintendo wifi USB hack?
  11. ok i've started working on this. I basically added the media player and an open file button. However, i want to make a scrolling box with all of the channels. I can't figure out how to get the scroll bar to be associated with a group or list box.
  12. I don't really understand VB much. and this instructable for a menu grid is all i want to do. Can anyone help me out? http://www.instructables.com/id/Free-legal...on-your-TV-set/

  14. hey, my g/f just wanted me to reformat her toshiba satellite m115-s1061. so i did. when the install was complete, i started installing drivers so the laptop would be usable. However, when i got down to the wireless driver, none of the ones on the toshiba website will work. i have tried installing each driver and the utility each driver. It just will not detect the card. Only unassigned drivers in the devide manager are Ethernet controller and PCI device. Im assuming that the card is the PCI device. Also, i can't seem to find the default microsoft wireless utility anywhere. Can anyone help me out with this?
  15. alright, so im over at my friends house tonight and we hop on his desktop to look up a few things. He goes to search google and google just sits there. We tried again, it just sits there waiting. so then we go to check his hotmail account. He logs in, and it just stops at the login. He can log in but it just stays on the white screen. He can access anything he wants on his laptop, but the desktop won't allow him to search google. He has this crappy DSL service from frontiernet but i don't see how that would stop him from googling. also, we have tried both IE and Firefox ( both with default settings ). What can i do?
