My mate at skewl has recently acquired a website and hes lookin for me to try 'nd do some white hat hacking, to test its security. I figured my first attempt would be a usual blunt force trauma styled hackin, aka brute force. dose anyone here no of a good ftp username and pass word brute forcer? and if you guys have any tips on hacking him please don't heasitate to post em. p.S i am not jokin he has asked me to hack him so don't lock this please.

hi at my school we have a sony DCR-HC2E mini DV handy cam and imovie hd 6.0.3. Whenever we try to import footage it splits up at about 5.03 seconds and we have to click import again... and again and again. this makes work near imopssible can anyone help us fix this annoying little problem?

first of all, all the pass word is is a little thing that it asks us a pass when ever we go on ichat or an internet browser, second the principal told us the pass. and last but not least I LIKE SCHOOL WHY WOULD I HACK IT!!! any way the server keeps records so what would i do look at porn lol no way it would get picked up and sent right to the principal.

well i think i can put it into disk mode that keeps it showing up as a flash drive so do i just copy to files and extract them to there or what?

told my mate today about problem he said exactly the same thing lol, think someone might have set a pass on it or when we got more ram or something, we had that much done to it god knows, im trying reinstall now... hope it works!!

this is random and prolly only works at a school like mine where the only thing kids like me don't control is the server (lol), if all you want to do is go to a web page just hope like hell google images isn't blocked and type the website name into search, then click an image from that site that comes up, worked for me before we got past fire wall.

as far as i know i didn't provide any passwords in install... and i sure as hell tried every pass word i have!!! so im a bit confused any way to hack the pass or get past it?

Hi well to start off i figured it might be time for me to actaculy contribute to these forums so here goes... well the school i go to currently uses an apple system, and my friend and i were mucking around in applications when we found this (lol), the key chain password is basically a password needed to preform certiant tasks like going to web pages... any way this is how we changed it (im not sure of the privilages needed) got to aplications (apple+shift+A) and go down to the bottom their should be a folder called "utilities" go into it and find "keychain Access" open it up and create a new key chain(use a password and name you can remember), once this is done go into your name folder whitch should be located on the bar to the left of a normal folder window once in the folder look for key chains now if you have done the stuff up to here correctly there should be two key chains (the one you made) and one other (for my friend and I it was login.keychain), delete the login.keychain and change the name of your other one to the same as the one you deleted. with this done log out then back in and hopefully you have a working keychain and can do all the stuff your teachers do (lol). hope it works for others as well as it did for my friend and I. P.S about a month later the principal came into the class and told us when he couldn't get ours to work the pass word was *&^%$#@ lol ENJOY

hi i may as well start with saying that im not the worlds greatest with computers (hell i can't even get linux working lol) but i don know a bit. Im using my old PC that we got ages ago. it came with windows 98, since then it has had upgrades like ram... but not alot, a fews years back now we upgraded it to windows 2k and earlier this year we got a new PC so that one went up stairs in the attic for a few months... until my friend told me about a linux distro in DSE so i went and dusted off my old PC and put it in my bedroom. As you prolly got from the title of this post the distro was fedora core 6 i went out after a while and got it, loaded it onto the computer and the install went fine but now when i turn it on it goes through all the normal things then goes to this... Fedora Core release 6 (zod) Kernel 2.6.18-1.2789.fc6 on an i686 localhoast login: after the localhoast bit it asks for a pass word. I'm not sure if this is something i put on but i can't get past it and it really bugs me. Any one know how to get past it, any help would be much appreciated!!!!
