thesugarat
I believe that is what's known as a rat trap.... Brilliant idea by the way.
thesugarat
You could look at hiding one of these around or near other boxes like it.... I'd purchase another sticker (maybe Electrical related) to cover the WiFi one. Finding a non-intrusive means of securing it to the wall may be difficult. http://www.amazon.com/Waterproof-Outdoor-Weatherproof-Enclosure-Cabinet/dp/B0042ZKWBG/ref=pd_sim_sbs_hi_5 Or this one is cheaper and more nondescript: http://www.amazon.com/WLanParts-Enclosure-9X6x3-Outdoor-1-Port/dp/B004EI0E6O/ref=pd_cp_hi_0 Edited May 7, 2013 by thesugarat
slacker87
Picked up an Otterbox Drybox 3500 which fits the pineapple, battery pack, alfa wifi adaptor, and a usb hub... doesn't look too bad to boot! Here's my entire gear list that gets crammed into the drybox: And here it is inside the drybox (sorry for bad quality pic) Edited May 7, 2013 by slacker87
dustbyter
I used a coleman water tight container I picked up at my local walmart. Drilled a hold to get the antenna to pop out, everything else sits inside it nicely!

I was hoping to find otterbox drybox locally. edit; where did you get the RF connectors? Edited May 7, 2013 by demonjester

ShadowBlade72
I know you said other than Pelican Cases, but they're pretty dang awesome. Check out my build thread that I did with two different pelican cases here: http://forums.hak5.org/index.php?/topic/28508-pineapple-pro-case-build/ One with a Pi/Pineapple and the other with just the Pineapple. Cheers, -Shadow

Johnnie
Astro3 does provide 12v. 3E model is 5V Edited May 9, 2013 by Johnnie
ShadowBlade72
Exactly what Johnnie said. I have the 5v model, but the 10k mAh version has 12v. I didn't have a need for 12v. The dual 5v model runs everything just fine for me. If you're planning on running just the pineapple with dual wireless cards, I'd suggest using the 2nd 5v outlet to throw some extra juice into a USB hub. I have two different battery packs atm, one is ravpower 10k mAh and the other is trent brand.
