Hehe I think you've solved the problem yourself :) 're-render' it will probably still do this anyway when you switch between tabs but right now you probably have 100 pages of text and bits of JPG maybe even flash stored in memory only... I'm betting the cache helps :)

Crap-ish it maybe but it's free with XP and well it does help alot of people... still would be nice if it's database were more robust/secure. Is goback very system resource intensive? Most of the Norton stuff is - they get better though like their latest firewall for example because they bought out another company and are using their software as a new base lol

You sure your using the latest version? Do you have any webpages open in it? try closing/opening them in different combinations you may find it's one particular page. If it isn't at a guess some sort of adware or malware. Maybe drop the History and Cache size too (emptying the cache every once in a while used to help too)

Assuming your using XP System restore is a wonderful thing... unless it has been virused :( Generally though Safemode->system restore or safemode->command prompt->sfc /scannow (you'll need the windows XP disc for that) but you may need to reinstall XP SP2 afterwards

make sure your using version 1.5.0.4 older versions used to eat resources like a b*$%h (dependant on what webpages you visited of course - and how long you had it running for - loo/memory paging flaw?) Latests one seems okay :) (Opera has gotten a lot better in v9 too)

Excel is just damed fine but it could do with better importing from other data sources but in 5 mins you can easily knock up a macro to help with that. The new office version (currently in beta) is well different to say the least :shock: hopefully in a good way though :) so people can get to see functions that can help them do things faster. I think the dl.tv episode (3 episodes back I think) was demoing it
