Once I saw the episode with the rainbow tables, I followed the tutorial mentioned above and also went through generating the tables (3gb), yes I could of downloaded them but I wanted to learn how to do this (the whole process from start to finish), yes it takes time but I felt happier going through the entire process rather than just downloading the generated table then annoying people into what do you use them for now. Once I had them generated I tested using them on my OWN laptop to see how they work now, i was happy how the whole process worked it takes time but it was fairly simple to follow

Recently I upgraded a couple of PC to Adobe Acrobat reader 8, once I had opened a PDF the Adobe updater would run at 100%cpu grinding the box to a halt, also I could not kill it I had to reboot my machine. Since I have downgraded to Acrobat 7 the problem has gone away

I have got a WD MyBook 250GB USB external drive which today, has stopped working, in Windows it is saying unrecognized device, does anyone know of a safe way of opening the enclosure so I can plug the drive into another case I have to check if the drive is ok? Cheers in advance

For me the macbook pro, i have had a couple of compaq's in the past and they have not come close so far...... ie battery life, reliability etc Even better since I have installed parallels on the lappy to test other os's

I installed xcode onto my mbp but I just use the terminal (vi to write the code) and use gcc or g++ to compile, so far while learning the language it has not been bad, I am using the book The C programming language by Brian W kernighan & Dennis M Ritchie Hope this helps

Plus if owning hacking tools is illegal who determines the list?, does this mean owning a laptop or pc is illegal as they could be classed as hacking tools!!!!
