  1. It's a fresh reflash, is actually been like this out of the box.
  2. Are you sure about his, I was messing with it tonight and on my box it doesnt turn on wlan1 it changes wlan0 into client mode and connects with wlan0 which means I have to then connect it to br-lan in order to turn it off.
  3. To answer my own question it seems that the network configuration is using wlan0 to connect, I was under the impression (from another thread) that network tab controlled wlan1 but it would appear that either that is incorrect or something is wrong on my pineapple
  4. So I applied the fix from the wpa client connect thread in order to get wlan1 to connect to an AP however every time it connects I loose wlan0, it stops broadcasting, any idea why?
  5. Shiny. I was thinking it was tied to wlan0 because it seems to boot me off wlan0 whenever I try using it to connect, but I havent tested that thoroughly, probably a result of other variables in play. I've tinkered with the suggestion from the thread on the encryption recommendation but havent been getting reliable results. Currently tim getting he best results for me when I connect eth0 directly to a computer and ics or tether my android phone, which actually is the simplest so far. I'm sure Seb and Darren are already aware of this but its sort of confusing seeing the tab and having wlan1 off by default, a nice addition would be a simple on/off toggle for wlan1 in that tab so we know they are related and so we can turn it on if needed.
  6. Is it just me or is the Network Client Tab in the network configuration block tied specifically to wlan0? whenever I use it to connect to an AP things go haywire and I end up having to reset back to factory. Which radio is that tied to and where is the other one? I have installed the wifi manager but that seems a bit buggy as well, Im really just trying to get a baring on what things are and what they are intended to do so I can put the to use and or better identify bugs etc......
  7. When I connect the MKV to my router I can not access the control panel interface on the network nor when connecting to the broadcasting pineapple_xxxx AP, however when I disconnect it from the router I can connect via wifi. I can also connect when the MKV is connected directly to a computer. Im not a routing expert (yet) I imagine this is due to an iptable or configuration which is looking specifically for the 172 block and the router is on 192, I see to recall this was much easier with the MKIV but dont remember if I configured things differently. What I would like to do is connect the MKV to the router for internet and control panel access freeing the radios for testing.
  8. When flashing for the first time all my dip switches where up. Green light turned on and the other 3 flashed in a random sequence for roughly 5 minutes. Have you tried putting it into the web interface mode and uploading the firmware that way?
  9. Total newb question I know, I'm learning pen testing to help my company. Why are the radios different? I was trying to set up ICS between wlan0 and wlan1 but for the life of me I can't get wlan1 to do anything but scan for broadcasts which got me thinking perhaps it's not in the proper mode or it serves a specific purpose other than acting as an AP. So does any one know the reason behind the choice of radios and or the purpose of each?
  10. Got my Mark V today...it's beautiful :) Sadly I can't get it to do much. I can connect via wifi @ 172.16.42.1:1471 but I cant get it to do much more than let me log in it wont connect to any wifi access points from the network tab, it just hangs it doesnt see any internet. Ethernet doesn't seem to connect or do anything, tried connecting to my router (asus ac66u) it will assign it an ip but that's it, I cant connect or talk to it, tried ssh, web interface, tried rebooting with sdcard out but that doesn't seem to do much for me. Tried connecting it to a couple computers and they barely recognize that its even connected. When connected the blue, amber and green lights are active the amber and blue flash periodically no real pattern though. All the dip switches are up. What am I doing wrong here?
  11. Just got mine as well, i got it working by installing sitesurvey, when its on reaver works. I can also get it working by enabling and disabling the monitor and or radio. What i can't figure out is how to get it to try different pins when attacking it only seems to try 1234567890
