  1. Tried and tried. USB tethering is on. USB connection set to tether with phone (Android) in control. Would not allow tethering with device in control. Nothing. Pineapple blue light on and flashing, flashing, flashing. Tried reset button. Tried incense and prayers. Nothing helps. 'Sup?
  2. Hello folks, I am trying to get USB tethering of the Verizon MiFi® 6620L working on the nano for WAN access. The device has been configured for USB tethering, and works on Mac OS X etc - plugging in the device forces the MiFi to ask what type of USB tethering to enable. Plugging into the Pineapple Nano however (latest firmware) just charges, with no prompt for tethering and no network interface created. Has anyone had any luck using this via USB? root@Pineapple:~# lsusb Bus 001 Device 009: ID 1410:b010 Novatel Wireless root@Pineapple:~# usbmode -l root@Pineapple:~#
  3. Hello folks, In response to my attempts to USB tether a Verizon MiFi jetpack to the Nano (TL;DR - it won't work): I have switched to the Verizon Jetpack AC791L (https://www.verizonwireless.com/internet-devices/verizon-jetpack-4g-lte-mobile-hotspot-ac791l/) instead, which does not work out of the box but can be fixed pretty easily: First off, make sure when you connect the device you enable USB Tethering through the on-screen prompt. Then you should see: root@Pineapple:~# lsusb Bus 001 Device 005: ID 0846:68e1 NetGear, Inc. Bus 001 Device 004: ID 05e3:0745 Genesys Logic, Inc

  5. Hi everyone, I'm the happy owner of a MKV which I use (when I take it out with me) with an Anker Astro E7 USB battery. When I connect the MKV to my home power supply, I'm perfectly able to use my Galaxy S6 as a 4G modem ( using the USB port on the MKV and enabling USB tethering ), but when I'm not home and I try to use the same exact configuration with the battery, the phone simply doesn't detect the USB connection thus doesn't allow me to enable tethering ( basically it's just like the phone's connected to absolutely nothing ). I guess this is due to some power requirements of the phone? An

  7. Hi, Hopefully this is a quick question with a simple answer from a noob! I am trying to USB tether from my Pineapple to my Galaxy Note 2. Firstly, I can tether using this phone just fine from my PC. It is just that, when I plug the Pineapple into the phone the USB Tether check-box remains greyed out and I'm unable to select it. The second I plug any PC into the phone the USB Tether check-box lights up and off I go. The phone is rooted and unlocked but it is not running any custom firmware, like CyanogenMod etc. Many thanks for your help! Cheers Julian
  8. I have a question. I do not have wifi at home, I use my Tmobile Andriod Phone with unlimited data to go online. I am trying to tether my Andriod phone running, 4.2.2 to my PS3. Now I can tether to my PS3 but I get an Upsell page from Tmobile, and it wont let me connect to PSN. I can turn on tether on my phone, and connect my Andriod tablet, my Wii, and my computer using an Andriod User Agent switcher to go online, and it works great. What I would like to do, is get my PS3 to access the PSN. I have tried some different VPN options, but when I use a VPN on my phone, any device connected to it
