Well if you have the parts laying around and Linux then it’s a cheep way to get a terabyte.

Some “documentary’s†have very little substance and are based very loosely on science the only “documentary†I have seen involving very large people is Fat Girls and Feeders which was about huge girls and guys that get of on feeding them and seeing them get larger, the girls in that didn’t seem to mind the fact that they where huge, I think it’s one of those thing where they get used to it after time.

I saw his interview on Click and he came across as being a greasy little wanker that knows very little and the things he said are severely questionable as he was talking about getting in and watching a webcam using java to view this “technology†he mentioned and he was disconnected from it when he saw a hand go across the screen and I’m sure that they do not use such a thing they do have security cameras but they are not computer based systems. It’s not even a big deal that he got in it has never been that hard to do, if you really want to, but the fact that he did and did not have the ability or foresight to clean his tracks makes him one of the thickest bastards I have head of and he knew what he was doing was against the law and the fact that the American government goes over the top when prosecuting computer related crimes. If you get into the DOD and NASA computer systems I’m sure you will find some cool stuff but he said he as no proof of anything he talked about and I don’t know about you but I would have copies of any interesting documents I found encrypted on my harddrive. I think we can all take form this that if you do decide to fuck with the DOD make sure you cover up your tracks. In my opinion if you really want to test your skills on government computer systems go after systems in countries that your government are not friendly with such as Iran and North Korea as you can get away with pretty much anything, but if you do piss them of expect some kind of retaliation.

That sucks, it’s well worth travelling to other exchanges as you can get some very cool things, when I worked for BT I saw some of the stuff they just chuck away and it’s a shame and since then when the summer comes up I start visiting different exchanges and pick up things from lineman’s handsets to laptops all of which can be useful, even if you can pick up a BT reflective vest it can be very useful when you are out phreaking.

One of the other pluses of wearing a XL is that I can hide the fact that I’m carrying a Glock when I’m in the US.

I just got a Cisco PIX 525 Firewall and it’s brilliant and would recommend any Cisco Firewall as I have been using them for years. I don’t use software firewalls on any of my servers or Linux desktops as it world be a waste of system resources and I only put them on laptops. If you have a old box laying around you can make your own firewall if you don’t want to shell out the cash for a Cisco or other manufacturers firewall using Smooth Wall or IP Cop.

Hay if you want a gaming PC and you don’t want to build it yourself buy one.

I’m more of a hardware guy then a software guy but coding is an integral part of anything, I would recommend you learn Assembler and C as they are always useful, “The Art of Assembly†is a nice book for beginners and “Practical C Programming†and “Embedded C Programming and the Microchip PIC†are two good books another book I would recommend is “Computer Organization and Architectureâ€. You may also want to check out “The Art of Electronics†You may want to learn: Pascal LISP C++ C# Java Ruby Perl PHP Python COBOL It is arguable on what are the best to learn, but I say learn everything you can and that will put you in good stead for the rest of your life.

I don’t think anyone will notice but from next week I will not be around much as I will be working out of Houston (USA) for the next 10 to 16 weeks, I will have broadband of some kind but I’m expected to do some work so I will have to at least appear to do something to earn my wage.
