  1. Yes that is true, but airodump-ng does not give u the ability to search for non broadcasting wireless. As opposed to Kismet. If you do war-driving frequently you will find kismet very useful.
  2. The reason I asked, is because I am planning in building a $10.000 VPS. And as result, I am looking for faster upload connection speeds.
  3. Hell yeah, if you could that will be much appreciated.
  4. You could use wireshark to sniff all his network traffic. And you might want to use sslstrip just in case he decides to use HTTPS.
  5. Oh man! are you for real?

    Konboot

You are absolutely right, and I know for a fact that there are tools out there for recovering windows password for free. But at the time when I needed a tool for recovering my administrator's account password, the windows installation CD served me well. But I do appreciate your comment as well. Thank you.
  7. That's what I've been looking for. Thanks for posting that up.

By the way, there is also a more simple method for gaining access to a computer, without the use of dictionary or brute force attack and plus no one would never notice any changes to their computer. You can get in and out, without leaving any traces behind. Check this link out. http://pubs.logicalexpressions.com/pub0009...icle.asp?ID=305

I've read before on a different thread, that Konboot can sometimes have undesirable effects. You might also wanna give ophcrack a try.
  10. Try rolling back the drivers, just to see if they are not causing any compatibility issues.
  11. I'll keep you posted, if I come up with anything.
  12. Thank you very much for the information, I don't think my exchange would have SDSL installed at their end either, even if they had I would have to pay a little bit more compared to what I am pay at the moment. But budge is not an issue for me. Thanks anyway, I really appreciate.
  13. Hi Guys, Just out of curiosity, is it possible to increase the upload speeds on a regular broadband internet connection. The plan that I am currently on, only gives me 1mgbits. I have spoken to my ISP, who advised me it may not be possible due to the current exchange configuration. Say even if it was possible, what sort of hardware or configuration I would need to have in order to increase the upload speed. Your comments will be much appreciated. Thank you.
  14. Is your computer fully patched, I am just trying to figure out what might be causing this error. Besides have you installed any software or application lately?
  15. Or perhaps use a firewall, so that way no one can see or access anything from your computer.
  16. The command syntax is as follows: psexec.exe \\computer name or ip address -u administrator username for the remote machine -p administrator password for the remote machine -c "remote file path to execute" I've tried that on my VMs and that worked fine.
  17. Check this out, I think there are what you are looking for. http://www.cacetech.com/products/airpcap.html http://www.alfa.com.tw/in/front/bin/ptlist...Category=105463
  18. I wouldn't be surprised at all. As a matter of fact, where I work I've heard cases of people opening attachments that came through spam emails, claiming it would make their computers run faster. But in fact turned their computers into some sort of spam bot making machine. I am very cautious when it comes to this sort of issues.
  19. A good way to annoy users. Love it. Will try it later with my squid proxy and have some fun.
  20. Is this password protected, or just a simple long phrase scrambled by ROT-13.
  21. My favorite, enjoy it. http://www.alfa.com.tw/in/front/bin/ptdeta...Category=105463
  22. Its fairly easy to set up a SSH server. You could use either one of these two and they work perfectly well on windows and linux. http://www.freesshd.com/ http://www.itefix.no/i2/copssh
  23. Have you tried using net stumbler for scanning your network? I know its no longer being supported but seemed to do its job. Alternatively, if you wireless router supports mac filtering, you could deny any computer from connecting to it and only allow computers that have been specified in the allowed list. This should stop less IT Savvy users from connecting to your wireless.
  24. If what else fails try using hijackthis, or simply format your system. http://free.antivirus.com/hijackthis/
