  1. Congratulation Bro, are you gonna be teaching him to be hacker too.
  2. Does your network adapter support raw monitoring mode or packet monitoring mode? If it doesn't it could explain why it can't see other machines on the network.
  3. You see whenever a file gets created and then deleted, it does not get fully deleted off your computer. It still lies somewhere on your computer's hard drive. For windows itself it thinks that the deleted file is gone and does not exist anymore, but there are certain tools that will allow you to retrieve those deleted files again. Now for CCLeaner and CleanAfterMe I am not 100% sure whether they wipe the files completely off the hard drive. If they don't well that explains why your pal has managed to find a lot of stuff, you thought was deleted.
  4. You need to make a better use of the white space on your website. More content is needed if you want to get users visiting your website more often. You might want to choose a different layout, for your web site/blog I would recommend looking for opensource web templates, you can find really professional designed web templates that describes what your intentions are. You should also include a about us page, that tells users what you are trying to do. If you know how to program in PHP, you should design a contact form to make it easy for the users to contact you. If don't know how to, you can download a contact form written in PHP and then you could alter it to suit your likes.
  5. I have used quite a few hacking tools: Ophcrack for cracking windows password rtgen.exe for generating rainbow tables. Cain and Abel for sniffing passwords on the network Metasploits for exploiting computers and getting a reverse command shell GFI's Languard for finding vulnerabilities on a network. And Kismet for locating non broadcasting wireless.
  6. If I was the employer I would've given her a written warning, informing her of the security breaches she violated and if that continued to happen she could find herself another job or have her prosecuted.
  7. @Tex©, I have found a very good review on DD-WRT performance. I would recommend you reading it to give you a bit more of information on DD-WRT in general. http://www.smallnetbuilder.com/wireless/wi...ll=&start=2
  8. @hyperhead, oh great will take a look at that a bit later on thanks dude.
  9. So what tool would be efficient enough to generate WAP-PSK rainbow tables? I have been looking around the net but could not find something worth to try. The only thing that seems to be available is the rainbow tables, which can be downloaded from almost anywhere on the net.
  10. Asus Extreme Striker motherboard x8giga of DDR2 ram E6660 Quad Core Intel CPU 10RPM raptor HDD Nvidia GTX 620 DDR 3 1TB external HDD I run virtual machines, also use it for generating rainbow tables and for cracking passwords as well.
  11. Another great piece of open source software firewall. Good one Bro!

    Buying Laptop

Hi Darkeyzs, Cnet has a good review on Asus laptops, it worth to take a look and the prices won't disappoint. http://reviews.cnet.com/laptop-reviews/?fi...=topPanelArea.1
  16. There are several router firmwares out there, the ones I can think of are Open-WRT, DD-WRT and Tomato. From my understanding you will be better off with DD-WRT, that's what most users use nowadays. This article can tell you a bit more than I can. http://lifehacker.com/178132/hack-attack-t...to-a-600-router
  17. In other word the world we live in today is screwed and there is no way of fixing it unless something or someone can do something to resolve this whole mess.

    Webcam

Try reinstalling your webcam drivers and then your MSN. If that does not work use the windows restore wizard to roll back your system to an earlier date.
  19. Or you could build your own CD tower with x8 CD drives in it and then implement some software that deals with the work distribution.
  20. I guess I could do the following put a php/asp shell on the server and use that to execute your exe or use some sort of exploit script to do the dirty work for me.
  21. I also run some web services at my network, so I will give Netsparker a fair go too.
  22. Hi All, I have been reading, researching and now in seek for a good and effective network vulnerability scanning tool. Yes I have found the popular ones and would like to know from the community if there are any other good ones you know of or have used before that is effective enough to track down any security flaws within your network. The two most popular tools I found were: http://www.nessus.org/download/ http://www.gfi.com/lannetscan Thank you in advance. Regards, Infiltrator
