  1. Hi all:) Here I am with another problem with BackTrack or to be specific with my wireless card. It's Edimax EW7108Pcg. I can connect, wicd works, aicrack-ng suite works, but sniffers(both nmap and ettercap) pretend to see only me on the network. Nmap with every possible option always prints that I'm the only host up and 1000 ports closed. Ettercap always says "0 hosts added..." and so on. I've no idea what's going on. PS. When I connect myself with a cable (eth0) everything works perfectly. Cheers, tomly
  2. Sorry that I'm replying to my own post, but I think I have an idea. Now I'm trying to get everything working on separate partitions. If only I manage to do this, I'll write a tutorial on that. Of course if there's a demand for such. Cheers from Poland, tomly
  3. Hi. I've bought a 16Gb pendrive and now I'm able to make a really nice multipass, but I've got one major problem. How the hell make a multipass with one persistent distro and many liveISOs, using whatever bootloader. I want to achieve something like this: 1) Linux Mint 9 with persistence 2-3Gb; 2) Backtrack 4 Final just live, but it's ok to have all default entries; 3) Trinity or Hirens rescue CD's ; or both; 4) boot from local hdd. If someone have any idea, please, share it with me. Big thanks in advance, tomly
  4. Hello. As it's my first post I'd like to say "Trust your technolust" to everybody. Now I'm getting to the point. I've been trying to get Ophcrack 2.3.1 working on my USB drive. That's my tree: f:disk -menu.lst -grldr -tables: --VISTA_FR: ---MD5SUM,...and so on; -boot: --ophcrack: ---BZIMAGE,...and so on. My GRUB4DOS entry is: title Ophcrack Live 2.3.1 kernel /boot/ophcrack/bzImage rw root=/dev/null vga=normal lang=C kmap=us screen=1024x768x16 autologin initrd /boot/ophcrack/rootfs.gz Everything goes fine until Ophcrack is booted and window with directories of tables and hashes appears. At that moment i get segmentation fault. I've no idea what's wrong. I hope you could help my solve this annoying issue. tomly
