    Tv Shows

I watched The professionals on "The YouTube" a few days ago, that was hilarious. Then I watched the gag reel for the episodes, I was laughing so hard at the "That f**king British ninja stole my fish!". Makes me luagh just thinking about it.
  2. What tester are you using for that? and have you tried another monitor? I have an extra monitor that's pretty flaky, you have to make sure it's on the right setting, right input, if it's plugged into the machine too late it won't work, just strange things like that. Has all these tests been with HD's connected? or no? And I thought I read you tried plugging everything into another motherboard, and it still doesn't work, but I can't find it so I'll just double check that. BTW, those things, I think they're crepes in your little avatar thing, look delicious.
  3. If you want to be in on the loop, lurk 4chan, but from one of your posts, it sounded you perused it a little the day it happened. And performing a DDoS attack as a form of protest is being malicious. When I read your first post, I thought you were implying that you wanted to lead the botnet, since you had such specific ideas of what you wanted, but I guess you never actually said it. Not that I condone botnets, but with something like this, the end user could claim plusable deniablibitly, much like running a TOR exit node. Or they might be able to claim they have no knowledge of the software, much like the zombie computers in a regular botnet
  4. I bought a NAS a few months ago, one of the best purchases I've made in a long time. The NAs I went with was pretty cheap, the web interface is pretty much shit, but it holds my files just fine. Got 2 1 TB HD's raid 0'd, setup subsonic on one of the computers on the network to stream music, but realized I didn't use it too much. The you could also setup an FTP on the NAS as well, thought I haven't tried since I wouldn't use it. Are you wanting to stream music, or just download some of it from your home network once you get there? Is an external HD an option? 5. What's everyones favorite IDE? I've been using Visual Studio, but have been disliking it more and more since it's such a resource hog. It also has some decent plug ins for other languages then the basic it comes with, perl and php I think are some. For Java I use eclipse, and it's pretty good, I think. So what's your favorite for C#, C++, java, or whatever language you like to program in?

    Boot Ubuntu 10.04

What cameras you using? I'm thinking about doing a camera in my baby's room, and one at the front door so I know when to not answer it =P.
  7. I wonder how Darren would look in the red leather dress from the movie =P **stabs out mind's eye**
  8. Well...I'm going to have to watch it again today, And there are so many good quotes from it. And I'm so sad roller blades never caught on like they did in the movie. =(
  9. So you want everyone to be able to program the game in different languages?
  10. I was reading that earlier, I thought they would make you a costume for 250$? Are you reading something I'm not? Hmmm I wonder who is going for the make them wear a dress option =P DEIT :: Huh, I just IMDB'ed hackers and it says the release date was Sept 15, 1995, and the party is on Oct 2.
  11. I did a little game programming while I was still in school, I used an engine named Oge3d ( www.ogre3d.org/ ) seem pretty simple and easy to use. A co-worker I had a few years ago was using that to finish a game that got cancelled, with some other fans of the game.
  12. I read somewhere that it was a raid for the RELOADED pre-release group, they released a game, which one I can't recall, and apparently the company got pissed enough to go after them.
  13. hmmm, did not know about that, I have often thought about the idea, guess that's one more thing to cross off my list.
  14. http://www.hak5.org/episodes/episode-704 If memory serves, comodo was the best.
  15. pft..notepad... notepad++ is the wave of the new generation =P
  16. Another approach is through the terminal. Type : ifconfig -a (this will shouw you the name of all your network cards) ifconfig <card name> up (this will bring your card up) /etc/init.d/wicd start (this will start a networking program which should get your IP from your DHCP server) If you don't have a DHCP server, you can give yourself a static one by typing : ifconfig <card name> inet X.X.X.X (where X is the IP you want) Now that I think of it it might not be inet, it might be something else, but I'm too tired to check it atm. If no one has corrected me by the time I get back I'll double check it.
  17. I've heard this is pretty good. http://www.irongeek.com/i.php?page=securit...udf-flash-drive But they pretty much do the same thing I believe.
  18. Good to know about the old electronics. A few years ago...maybe more like 10, I was playing around with a power supply, and something bad happened, all I know is I was in pain and on the floor...oh being young again... That mouser site has a ton of stuff, maybe too much, I can't find just LED lights, but I could just be lost in their search results. The closest I can find is arrays of LEDs or ones that cost >5$ per. EDIT:: I was talking to a friend of mine and he said http://www.ledshoppe.com/ was good for LED's, and they seem pretty inexpensive. As for most of the other stuff, he uses http://www.allelectronics.com/ which seems pretty good, but I haven't poked around too much.
  19. The "where do you get your stuff" thread started me thinking, where do you guys like to get our small electronics from? I'm thinking of resistors, capacitors , and LED, and the like? I've boughten some from EBay, but don't like it because I always have a fear of being ripped off, even when the seller has 100% thumbs up or whatever they do, I just have that little faith in people on the internet =P I'm starting a small project and need to restock on some of those little things.

    Boxee Music

Anyone else getting this type of bug when using Boxee to playback music? http://jira.boxee.tv/browse/BOXEE-4727 The only way I've figured to fix it is after I finish listening to music, to remote into the server, and take it out of full screen mode and put it back in, then it will be fixed. It only works after I have started playing a video, not if it's paused on the music.
  21. HOPE has archives, both in torrents and direct downloads I believe. I watched some from a few years ago with Kevin Mitnick on a few panels, they were pretty good, and a good segment on bluetooth hacking
  22. True, I guess I still think of a virus like a biological virus, since if it kills a new host before it can infect something else, it too would die off quite quickly. TO the OP: This site is in the sticked so you want to hack thread in one of the forums, might be worth you taking a look at, I haven't poked around there much, but it seems to have some good information that you might benefit from. http://vxchaos.official.ws/
  23. While I don't like posting in such threads, I thought I'd point this out. I'm not sure if that would be a virus, technically, since it can't spread, since once you kill their system, your program can't go anywhere from there. Unless you have an infected site people will go to, or you are targeting one person, if you are targeting one person, there are better ways about going about that.
  24. Is it a hardware raid or software?
  25. Your supposed to PM him with the answer, so you don't ruin it for everyone else.
