soulife
You really need to reflash the firmware and do a full firmware recovery just to do a factory reset? Is there a reason for this implementation? I feel like this could have been avoided with some simple partitioning, think wiping a phone vs reflashing it. So I'm curious why it was designed this way. spudgunman
never gets past this step With the reset button held, connect a USB cable between your computer and the USB-C port on the WiFi Pineapple.
Sab
I can't perform a factory reset too. Following the steps suggested, it's impossible for me to get this step : Quote From your computer, configure the USB Ethernet interface (ASIX) associated with the WiFi Pineapple to have a static IP address of 172.16.42.42 with the netmask 255.255.255.0. I'm trying to do this from a W10. I've also tried to perform a USB Flash Drive update... with no more sucess. Any help would be appreciated. chrizree
In what way is it impossible to set a static IP address? You need to explain more in detail why. What have you tried?
