m0ses
Hi all, first I want to say "hello world" as it's my first post here (not last, you can be sure). I just ordered Mark V and I hope would get it in next few days, I'm from Europe so it's quite difficult to get any accessories for it that is why I want to as if following battery would suit: http://www.goclever.com/uk/products,c1/peripherals,c32/powerbank,a81.html#features What would be the difference between 5V and 12V power source, practical difference. I can't order power bank from hakshop as customs will stop my package on 100% that is why I have to search sth locally. Help much appreciated. masler77
I live in Europe (Sweden) also I have ordered a mark v and travel pack! delivered. why would customs stop your package? it's not forbidden to possess these electronic devices! duty only charge customs fee. m0ses
by stopping package I meant that I will have to pay tax for it and to be honest it would cost too much for me. That is why I am looking for some other possibilities. I can't see battery packs on hakshop website, could anyone post me the link? Sorry for such basic questions but really can't find it lol
Sebkinne
We don't sell battery packs separate at the current time. My personal recommendation is 9V or 12th battery packs as the WiFi Pineapple MKV will be able to handle a higher load without issues. Another plus on the higher voltage is, battery packs last longer. Best regards, Sebkinne
m0ses
Thank you for your answer, when you think you start selling packs again? :>

yabasoya
I have a 10,400 mAh usb battery pack. I get 12 hours off of it with just the pineapple at stock power settings and nothing else connected. If I connect a 3rd nic via usb, it becomes a little unstable and I get random resets even at full charge.

Mit0s1s
I agree with Sebkinne, go with the higher voltage. when I use my 5v supply I do get stability issues under high load, sometimes the sd doesn't mount. But I just disconnect and connect to either my 9v or 12v and all is well
m0ses
ok nice, thanks for your feedback on this. I found one battery in my country, it can run 12V and have 8000mAh

barry99705
oops... 5v Anything running from a usb port will be 5v. You'll have issues running extra hardware like that.
