Screamms
Hi all Patched my pineapple from the hakshop using some of the tutorials given but with alterations such as using the base IP Address of 192.168.0.99 as I noticed the AP ARPing out on this subnet. Once this was changed and running rpcapd.exe in the background it started flashing for real. i.e. sending rootfs, 1612 blocks....flashing...loading messages However Now the default page for 172.16.42.1 gives the following Warning: main(error.html) [function.main]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /www/redirect.php on line 8 Fatal error: main() [function.require]: Failed opening required 'error.html' (include_path='.:') in /www/redirect.php on line 8 And I am unable to SSH into the pineapple..just get connection refused messages from putty Able to browse 172.16.42.1 however the about page still says 1.0.2, did you update this Seb? Noticed all other changes I made (such as SSID) have been changed though. Should I reflash? Use a lower version? Yet to test other functions as I would like to SSH in to see what is happening Edited December 9, 2011 by Screamms
httpCRASH
Hi all Patched my pineapple from the hakshop using some of the tutorials given but with alterations such as using the base IP Address of 192.168.0.99 as I noticed the AP ARPing out on this subnet. Use a lower version? Yet to test other functions as I would like to SSH in to see what is happening go to http://172.16.42.1/pineapple'>http://172.16.42.1/pineapple for the admin interface... if you want some files for http://172.16.42.1 you can start looking at http://hak5.org/hack/pineapple-phishing and copy the examples from there to your pineapple regarding SSH, have you waited for a while before connecting? because SSH becomes avalible pretty late in the boot process.. mine looks like its booted for what feels like ages before SSH works 1.9 works great, so if everything else fails flash the same version again, but sounds likes it boots alright.. Screamms
Thanks for responding httpCRASH, could use all the useful help we can get answering all these Q's lol. people need to read the wiki too. Yeap Im just a full on retard...needed to kill my .ssh/known_hosts file for SSH Yeap I know about the /pineapple page, just the default landing page for the pineapple is giving an error now..No probs Ill just fix it up Regarding the flashing, I followed the tutorial by GhostShell.. He was using 192.168.1.99 for the client which for me was not working, when I ran a trace on the pineapple without an IP stack I noticed it arping out on 192.168.0.x... changing my laptop to this subnet and running winpcap (think this bit is missing in the tutorial) it started flashing all good Cheers guys Awesome tool...gonna have some fun with it
Mr-Protocol
I think it's throwing that error intentionally, or you can put something there as mentioned in the advanced section. You only set the IP to 192.168.1.x when you flash it. After that you need to change it to 172.16.42.x range so you can talk to the pineapple. You could modify the redirect.php page and actually set it up to your liking. Best, Sebkinne
