    bye Matt

First Wess and now Matt... :o
  2. Just wondering if this is same box "AP51 The AP/Client/Router/WISP/Repeater": http://www.alfa.com.tw/in/front/bin/ptdeta...Category=105479
  3. Well... I was just interested does anybody know any other ways to do that.
  4. :-) I'm not apple hater (I use touch, macbookpro, airport extreme and so on...) but I just can't find any use for iPad. Or at least not yet. Some peoples say that it has great design... well... for me it looks like typical digital photo frame. Other peoples say that it's good for reading ebooks... well... IMHO kindle and that sony device are much better (better battery life and so on) or maybe I'm just only one who doesn't need cute colours and icons to my books? For me it's just over size ipod touch right now. But I'm 101% sure that apple fan boys will buy that and tell how revolution that is :-D
  5. I have Alfa and Nokia Bluetooth GPS on cover of my Asus EEEPC with velcro too =)
  6. Any idea how to "hack" port-security thing on procurve switch? It will disable port and send alert if you connect device with new unknown mac-address to port. Only way what comes to my mind is change your device mac-address to same as that device which is on that port already and then it should not disable that port... haven't tested it yet but... More about port-security example here: http://www.hiddenone.net/hp-procurve/local-port-security/
  7. Problem was on DNS but not on resolve.conf. My Fon box dhcp server gave wrong DNS server to clients. It gave 192.168.0.250 and for some reason 255.255.255.0 When I changed those on /etc/config/dhcp things started to work... Now I just need to check if Jasager part works =)
  8. Oh ok... then I have understood this pic wrong: http://i364.photobucket.com/albums/oo88/ji...1webif_dhcp.png http://wiki.hak5.org/wiki/Internet_Connect...mit_Der_Jasager <- Whole page =) I mean WWW That sounds right... Will try that when I get home.
  9. Now everything else seems to work pretty ok but: - Even that I have set my Fon for DHCP and 192.168.0.250 it still doesn't use .250 IP. - If I have Fon on my homenetwork where I have DHCP server it get's IP from that (normally .206) - If there is no DHCP server on that network it doesn't get IP anywhere (not even .250) - I can't get to internet via that Fon box. I can ping 8.8.8.8 but not example www.google.com (from Fon and from "victim" - I can connect to my Fon box from that computer which shares my internet connection - I can get internet from that computer which shares my connection - I can connect to my Fon boxfrom my "victic" computer (Nokia n900 on this test) Any ideas how to solve these things?
  10. Talking about GPS and smartphones... there is software called expgps... with that you can use your phone's GPS as external GPS for your computer. ExtGPS: http://www.joiku.com/index.php?action=prod...;product_id=351
  11. Thanks. Sounds enough easy even for me :-) Have to try that when I get home.
  12. Earlier I used Garmin eTrex Camo with serialcable->usb converter but now a days when I wardrive (or mostly warwalk) I used Nokia LD-3W Bluetooth GPS. You don't need to stick that on the roof of your vehical cos it works so well even inside your vehical =) http://europe.nokia.com/find-products/acce...ps-module-ld-3w Asus EEEPC inside my jacket... Nokia LD-3W in my pocket... Kismet scanning wifi and festival talking what it founds to my ear via earphones... that's my warwalk setup =)

    Hak5 Screensaver...

You want that link what is on the first message? Edit: Sorry... stupid me... those links just give 404 =(
  14. It just doesn't look awesome it also is =) I use ipod Touch, Nokia E90 and Nokia N900 daily and N900 has make me use my phone so differently that how I used older phones. It's so weird feeling when phone OS is so open that you can example change which colour led blinks when you have got sms, missed call and so on... I already have macchanger and aircrack-ng on my N900... still waiting Kismet =)
  15. One problem with WiFi Security cam's is also that they are so easy to jam with Wifi Jammer. Of course there is also wireless camera without anykind of protection: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/WarViewing
  16. Has anybody got kismet working on Nokia N900? I can find macchanger, aircrack-ng and so on for it but no kismet :-(
  17. If you want to make your own diy poe for your Fon you might want to do something like these: http://www.youritronics.com/diy-power-over-ethernet-poe/ http://www.petrilopia.net/wordpress/hardwa...y-poe-injektor/ http://www.nycwireless.net/projects/poe-power-over-ethernet/
  18. I guess that it depends where you live. Here in Finland certifications and so on are only things which seems to matter. Skills and so on are worthles if you don't know somebody in that company where you are trying to get in. If you don't have certifications and/or you have been on that and that school you are out before even getting on to job interview.
  19. Thank you l0rdnic0 about your reply. I get things work wireless last night but still have some weird problems... I have enabled DHCP for both wan and lan but it still doesn't give any IP's for connecting wireless devices. If I manually give my laptop 192.168.0.50 it connect to my Fon box but doesn't go to Internet (I'm pretty sure that this will get fixed if I get that DHCP work cos last night everything worked like a dream once :-D ) And even that I have wrote 192.168.0.250 as my Fon box IP (done that set to DHCP and still add 192.168.0.250 and 255.255.255.0 it still doesn't take that IP and it works on 192.168.0.206 which I once used with it).
  20. Ok... so don't run dhcp server on ICS... run it on Fon. Does it sound of if I set laptops wifi: 192.168.1.100 and FON 192.168.1.101 (Should FON gw be 192.168.1.100?) I seem to have "lan DHCP" on... should I also have wan DHCP on?
  21. I have working Jasager box but if I want to use it I have to have cat5 cable between my Fon and my laptop. I have tried to get it work with wifi but just can't get it to work... :-/ Could somebody tell me how I can get it to work? I have Windows 7 on my laptop and I use my Nokia E90 to connect to internet via USB cable. When I connect my Jasager box to my laptop Windows (I guess that it's ICS) will give 192.168.137.x IP for Fon (I'm pretty sure that my Fon is getting DHCP ip from my laptop). Which IP's I should config for my laptop/jasager (DHCP enable or not?).
  22. I was lazy... I had one spare laptop so I installed Windows XP to it and now that works via ethernet cable. Is it possible to do everything wirelessly? Now I have: Jasager@Fon -- CAT5 cable --> Laptop --> USB-cable --> Nokia E90 (3G) ---> Internet and that's probably not the best way to do that =)
  23. It would be really cool if somebody could write good tutorial for idiots like me about ICS with Jasager and Linux.
  24. The Broken is ok and The Token joke about that intro is damn nice. Make me laught when I first time see it  Hak5 guys (And Alli) should do more things like that.
