I am actually having the same problems right now. I run the L3 software and I can click the next button though and it starts to install the software except then it fails. Not sure what is up with it. 8)

Explain better what the problem is cause I guess I am not getting it. Maybe show me some screen caps

Can you not just go to View/Toolbars/Customize and drag and drop the search bar to where you want it. :) 8)

you have to execute the go.bat file if you are using a non U3 enabled drive.

autorun script will not work on a USB flash drive. :( we have already been doing the research for a non U3 drive auto running code. So far we do not have a working demo for everyone but when we get one watch the wiki for a tutorial. :)

Ahhhh just was thinking aboutyour issue and and idea came to me. Trying shutting down the laptop completely and removing the hard drive and then replacing it power up the unit I think that does a reset and should recognize the disk. :? Maybe what I did when mine screwed up.

I have run into this problem before not too sure what exactly causes it. I know though that after a while though a bunch of reboots I could finally get it to boot. Maybe somebody else knows the cause of this problem. 8)

That is exactly what happens. You change the first EB into an AB which just messes you the format in Windows. Then when you click on the drive and it tells you to format it when you do so it changes the AB back into an EB. I think there is another thing in there that needs to be changed so that you can format it to NTFS.

Well when I plug it in to linux it won't mount normally it mounts automatically then when I plug it into windows it only shows the first 8megs I was trying to format it back to a normal drive. :( You on IRC or any IM???

The drive you got see an similar to this one EDIT: I assuming correctly when I say I am formatting the drive and you are using XP to do the formatting not any other 3rd party software. Cause it only give me the option of Fat or Fat32 hey can you upload your hex output of your working drive so I can compare it to the one I got with this drive. :) Thanks EDIT2: ROTFL I was typing while you were but we found the same thing HaHa :)

okay guys I did what maxdamage had I changed the EB to an AB and saved it and then reformatted my drive or tried I also was only able to reformat to FAT or FAT32 and neither of them work. :( This is on a LEXAR JumpDrive Firefly going to try it on a SanDisk Cruzer Micro here in a sec cause it apperently does not support the U3 technology. :(
