Yeah, I just use laser defense grids in my computer room, and I have custom mutating encryption string protection on all of my files, and an active staff of Artificially Intelligent robots constantly scanning my computer for any outside influence. :P

MIT is the top engineering college in the US. It lies in Boston, Massachusetts. It's damn expensive though. Not to mention the prices of resturants, housing and such around it. X_X The average GPA they take into the campus is a 3.9... Very smart group of people, but $50,000 a year is pricy :shock: I am applying to go there. I'll probably make it. Weird. I have never heard/seen anything like that. Must get pretty annoying though. I would try installing some other internet provider and seeing if it does the same, you can always delete it. That way you can single out if it's the firefox program or other errors. Or maybe satan has possessed your mouse's scroll button :twisted:

I go and drag music off of games like Tiberian Sun and listen to it while I work. It's made to be background music when you play games and such, so it works the same for my work. It's fast paced too, so it gets you running faster. Other than that it's Melodic Metal for me I just use open shareware to get my music; however I am getting into pandora stuff, because most of the music I want doesn't get to the US without special orders. :evil:

I wouldn't doubt it. Only problem you really face is the size of the parts you would put into it. Laptops get as small as they can due to surface mounting and such. You don't have to go as low as the link above. Although I have to say, it's pretty cool. It's possible, it's just what time/money/size you want/have. I can help with any wiring of the stuff and such if you need it.

Yes, the root folder just means the drive it's in. No specifically named folder called "root", unless you decided to make one.

I've been searching google. I read up and understand all the cracking programs, and have a select few on my portable hardware. I am unable to find a way to recieve hashes though. I get lame results on Google.

Okay. To better define what I'm looking for: How do I recieve hashes from different programs. I know the process beyond the hashes pretty well. How do you get someone's hash in the first place? I am just wondering if someone has a link or reading material to help.

I'm well aware passwords are capable of being cracked. I know how to do several windows ones. I couldn't do it entirely by myself though. I am asking for assitance? What I meant by the question is: Other than windows, what other passwords can be cracked. Such as; web-based passwords, program passwords ( I guess what you would see on a videogame), etc. Help please? What's !vote lock too O_o

Hello Everyone. I have an interest in Password cracking. I am familiar with the concept of it, I just don't know where to begin. I have seen the rainbowcrack website and another, I just don't know exactly how to use this. Does anyone have a good link/file that shows where I can start? also What kind of passwords are capable of being cracked? That's all.

I use several. Just because I cracked them and get free service. I have like 7 years of free norton. Free AVG and others.

I have codes for RFID if needed. They're really easy too. Those security tags are pretty neat. I wasn't able to get one for the robot from the funds given. I also have a turret I made (Working bugs out of program), that targets people and it points a laser on them. I'm sure you could replace the laser with something different.... Or make it a class V laser =) Lasers are better than shotguns =D Either that or plasma phasers!!! Then I'd just need a cold fusion reactor. Oh the possibilities

I know how to get Linux onto an Xbox and turn it into a computer. I'm pretty sure there are more than just me, and I don't know if there already is a post on this site. Yeah, If it's RFID I can help you. I put a whole RFID system on a robot for Batelle and programmed it. I have 10 cards sitting next to me :D Anyways, RFID is a system where you have cards, each one is unique. The cards have a 10 digit code on them which is read by the scanners, which I also have sitting next to me. When you swipe them it will read the code and match it. If it is RFID, you have no chance of copying it unless you get a hack to register a new unique code to their computer, or you're lucky enough to get one with the exact same number. If you do swipe the card, you have some other odds. I'm not sure about their use.

I say every 3-4 years. I cannot afford buying a new computer every year O_o Spent $2000 when I was 14 to buy a new computer, and I was in debt to my parents for quite awhile. Now I'm looking for a new one. I have a sweet video card and the other parts can't keep up as well. Farewell money :cry:
