    3D Modeling

Ah ha. It says python is missing >=( What do I do now?

    3D Modeling

I tried it, but nothing works. Tried putting like 50 lamps, and using all layers, but nothing seems to allow me to render it. I just have a simple cube that I rounded the edges. It doesn't even allow me to render the default cube on the start page. Any help?

    3D Modeling

In relevancy to Blender. I just downloaded the program and I got a decent way through the tutorial and it all makes sense. Problem is: I get nothing when I render 3D objects I create. I get a background and...... a background. I've searched on their FAQ and around google with minimal success. Any help?
  4. Well, if you're willing to spend a bit of money and use a lot of power. I have some schematics and blueprints of EMP generators that disable electronics in a direction. Then you can disable every electronic pertaining to the stereo and some other stuff. It is directional so you wouldn't do any damage to your own household. Althought it would be a good idea to get it out of the way.
  5. Dude, Deveant I want that. I just found a PDA and I'm willing to salvage it for similiar purposes. Only problem is it boots on Windows and I need to convert to Linux. It would probably be an easy fix, just haven't looked up up really. It's pretty old too (2002) so I don't know if something that... whatever will be able to operate on it. Is there a site or anything with that?
  6. I forgot to mention, check out the USB hacksaw and switchblade if you haven't. They're two extremely useful programs, but they need administrator access. If you can slip into the admin's office and plug it in for a short time though, you can have fun. :o Nice link btw.
  7. I would say make your own, but I don't know how laptops are to make. Or if you could do it. I enjoy making my own desktops. Anyway, that's a good choice considering it's the second best. I doubt you want to pay 4500$. I would definitely throw some more RAM into it. 512mb is a bit low. Up it to 1 GB. And if you have the cash, dual video cards will keep it up to date. It comes standared with a good enough screen and audio. That's all I would do to it. Personally, I'd spend a large amount in order to keep it up to date, because laptop parts aren't so upgradable. Other than that, Alienwares are made for gaming. They are probably your best bet. Dell has one that my Chemisty teacher got and it's pretty nice, not to mention very customizable. Here's the link. http://www.dell.com/content/products/produ...s=dhs&cs=19 I'd just choose 2-3 and look at customer reviews and specs.

That would be helpful. All the more education increases your chances of getting into better colleges. 3.9 GPA is around what I maintain. Although I'm taking AP calculus, AP Statistics, and others so I should be able to get that over 4.0. A calc class would also help you tremendously on ACT/SAT tests, which are largely impacted getting into colleges. Your best bet is to get into a decent college for your bachelors degree, then major in MIT. The University of Michigan has a very nice Engineering program, being 7th in the US, but it's also a public school. Just my advice.
  9. Oh, I figured you were going for getting administrator access or something. BTW: I enjoy your avatar thing. :D
  10. Best thing to do is get portable compilers so you can make your own code elsewhere. Notepad is standard on all Windows computers, so you can make a variety of code that way. That's all I do. Sounds like you have a more harsh administrator than me, so I don't know what you can get away with. I bring a 80gb portable hard drive to school and he freaks out when he sees 80 gigs pop up in his server space, it's quite humerous. Hacking school computers aren't really worth it though. Consequences are too severe. I'd rather get into college to pick more up there to use that elsewhere.
  11. I tried playing with Cain&Abel today and the administrator blocked that out  So, there's a program you probably don't want to try.

Try: Admin *No Password* That's default for routers.
  13. Da. If the Zune doesn't come with software to do it use SUPER. My MP3 player came with its own video converting software built in.
  14. 2200 wet sandpaper is very very fine and it's wet so it can't do as much damage as you think. The sandpaper is equivilant to paper. I'm not familiar to the rubbing compound, but it sounds like a good idea to me. You may want to test it on something else first, make sure it dries clear. Make sure the stuff you fill it in with is runny and do it very slowly. If not, you could always go to a computer shop and see what they'd do. Be good getting professional advice.
  15. May I ask what these are for? Whatever they're for, the second one is nice because it is a photo, and you can't see the pixels
  16. I don't eat either. I just get absorbed in my work, and then when hunger pangs consume my thoughts I eat. I also have a gallon of water next to me. That's all.
  17. I have 3 different wireless things on my computer... Why? I have no clue. My first is a wireless 802.11 b at 10mb/s not too great for online Then I have a wireless card in my computer 802.11g at 54mb/s And also a usb one that I got for free also 802.11g at 54mb/s The card is my best, it's the only thing that retains a connection. Probably because I'm going through 6 walls and a washer & dryer to get my connection -_-

    C for h1910

I did some searching on google and was unable to find a C compiler for my new pda I found and managed to get to work. I was wondering if anyone knew of C compilers for palm devices. Well, there probably is one out there, I am just running on a completely hacked computer. I used some modded usb stick to get internet and it's not very quick. Took me like 5 minutes to get here. Anyone have anything? Or perhaps a way to turn a......... uh..... I don't know cable names. Perhaps a cord that would come out of a palm device into a cable that could fit a MPLAB ICD 2 in line debugger. I'm not sure what kind it is. It's more square shaped... It's too late O_o

Hmmm... Common thought. I believe education should be first, because it what drives you more to success. Social aspects bring you to the right people, but talking educated is important. What's the use of spending large amounts of money on education if you don't use it anyway? Might as well be remembered through people when your life comes to an end, instead of a faultless memory to your friends and family. That's why you take over the world. You'll be remembered by all, and you will live for eternity.

Neato, I think I'll get this. This should help me rename my music. :o

    MIT

Nah... MIT pwns :) They have nice undergrad programs, but still... It's still an issue of money O_o I can see having friends at colleges. I'd rather learn though, because knowledge is power and I can use it to take over the world. I'll go to a good college to start, then get some cash and attend MIT, that's my plan. Can't forget world domination though

    MIT

Well... MIT is the #1 engineering college in the United States. That encompasses electronic, mechanical, biological, whatever. Caltech is close behind being #4. It's a good choice if you live on the west coastish area. Basically, there's two of the best engineering colleges on either end of America. Good choice... Stanford is actually number 2. Yale is 38th. But I don't know what major you're going for. As for me. I'm going for electronics engineering so I can develop AI software =D
  23. Nevermind. Found it :D Forget I asked
  24. I found an iPAQ h1910 pda and a cable and I'm ever-so delighted. Problem is, it doesn't have software. After searching Google for half an hour and almost putting a whole through the nearby wall, I got fed up and decided to ask here. I search and find a wonderful list of results, only to find out that each of them are for stupid software that I can put on the device. That's wonderful  What the hell am I supposed to do with those programs unless I have something to put them ON the device... Any help? Don't bother looking around, I was just wondering if anyone knows any file databases off the top of their head that could have software.

    MIT

Da... That's what I'm trying for. I just got accepted into the National Honors Society today, whatever the hell that is  If I can't get enough cash for there, I'm going to Carnegie, Perdue, or University of Illinois (Forget which branch).
