Damn, I am so sorry to have to come back on this topic. Hakshop promised me a new pineapple after the one I got arrived non-functioning, and despite numerous emails warning them, they did not take care of customs procedure, therefore I had to pay another 50US$ extra to get the stuff. Since I did not want to pay for it, the stuff was not delivered, I have sent maybe 5 warning Emails to the Hakshop telling them about the problem and asking for solution, they are just ignoring me, not one single answer… Look like the only one I got was because I was chatting on this topic... So never know let’s see what happens. :) Has anyone had such bad experience with the Hakshop? I am wondering because looks like they actually give plenty of cool things here, but once they need to get it done, well not so cool anymore... If anyone had a contact I would appreciate help, since I am stuck with expensive non-working kit, and I cannot get in touch with them. Matt.

Hi, I run a small Pen-testing company in the south of France, I have one advice for you my friend. Get a lawyer (a good one), get him to cook bullet proof paper work and get you customers to sign it by the Kilo before you even switch on your laptop in he's premises. Then, once you have all the paperwork in place, start working on information gathering, this is what most companies are looking for. not actual pen-testing. If you want some pointers, just Pm me :)

Not sure, Ordered the gear 10 days ago. Looks like the problem has been floating around since a while now. Nerveless, If I get an exchange I guess this is just perfect.

Yeah I did, I did not even bother to unpack the provided Ethernet cable Lol :) I have a proper Panduit cable. checked it first thing also.. :( Yeah, thank you for the advice, I will go on the IRC channel, but I fear that there is nothing to do. I will ask Hakshop for exchange and if they cannot ship a working device will get money back. Pity, the device seems like a good concept. :( I was planning on making a nice demo gig to my customers.

I am running in to exactly the same problem. The thing that really worries me is that this topic was unanswered since January... I am considering sending back eveything to the HakShop now, since it appears that there is no solution to this problem.

yup, exactly same problem. LAN flashes a few time then only the WPS flashes and power on, and nothing happens. Edit: Just to be sure, Connected a Netgear adapter with the 12V specs, system starts up all right, WPS flashes for a while , LAN flashes at boot up with the WAN LED, then nothing only the power and WPS lights staying on. Must say that this is a big anti climax from the HAkShop.

Hello, Just unpacked my new pineapple IV, connected, plug it in... Surprise surprise.. Doesn't work… ( no control before shipping ? ) Re checked everything... Cables in the right place, no way I can get to the web interface and the LAN light flashes a few times on boot up sequence then stays desperately blank... Tried to use the reset button, don’t seem to work. (Used a stopwatch at exactly 8 seconds.) Any ideas? J Thank you. Ps: I am in France, so returning the stuff is an expensive option…
