I agree. i use VMware for windows 2000 so i don't have to worry about partitions. but if you do want to install both. make 2 partitions and run the installation disc and follow the prompts.

what you needs is a g/f that watches porn with you

wonder what the chances of being caught? don't drive the opposite way down a one way street would be one way to avoid it i would assume. And a person who doesn't bother to secure there network probably wont know you are on there anyways.

i would say early morning. like 8 am or so. working night shifts doesn't give you much more time to try out new stuff you are reading about. at work we don't really have restriction on what sites we can go to, but i wouldn't risk looking at porn or any warez sites at work. i work for the cable company so i get the all the porn channels for free anyways. less porn on a computer is always better. either way i read at work and try out in the mornings. seems to work for me

Cable is what i use, get 10MB down and 1 MB up. usually it caps out at about 7-8 MB down and about 600 KB up. working for my ISP i can go to work and check my area for saturation and kindly asked to get moved a different router card. one good thing about it i guess.

sound like my job, i work for my ISP actually i do tech support on the phone working in a call center sucks ass. Should try helping an 80 some year old person who bought a Mac because it looked "nicer" and they don't even know how to open up a browser. thank god for remote desktop but i get to read between calls so I'm working on getting my A+ right now so i can work my way off the phones and do help desk support then see what comes from there.

In Canada i do believe most of not all ISP's use dynamic IP for residential users from my cable company i get 2 free IP's if i need them but when i have my computer(s) hooked up most of the time its through a router so i only use the one.

well all that happend to me was i was trying to install XP on a different partion and yada yada i lost power and the laptop shut off while installing. reboot and i get the message missing hal.dll. as soon as i saw that i didnt touch another thing and hit google for a fix. sounds like you have lost more so might take some more work to fix. but to be honest this sound like the only fix left is a good old format of the drive which is probably not what you want to hear

It was a while ago when i did this. i remember i started the recovery console and typed everyting in Option 1: Attrib -H -R -S C:Boot.ini DEL C:Boot.ini BootCfg /Rebuild Fixboot from kelly site and then it asked me for a new name. i didnt know what to put there so i put a period. reboot pc and i saw windows home edition and a period below it. i selected the period and it loaded into windows. then i went into control panel-> system->advanced->startup and recovery and and edit boot.ini, deleted the windows xp home edition and renamed the period for windows xp home edition and saved and reboot and it works fine.
