  1. Sure, would be necessary to know if I'm the only one having that prob with last.fm submisstion... Can some more people give comments on that function? I'd take a look into the code, but I'm not very good in Java! ;-)
  2. CF*, definitely! (The newest one atm is CF5, yes) The old versions (resp. some functions of them) stopped working because pandora changed some things in their system.
  3. heheh, I think QuickMix will do well! ;-) What do you think about the last.fm issues? Will it be possible to fix that? I think there must be a way to add 1 hour to the timestamp in the code.
  4. Don't think that will ever happen! Flash Versions >9 just stop caching the files as renamed MP3-files. So you will always need to use Flash 8! Of course there is the thing with the XML-files but imho that's not a good idea because of the extra traffic for pandora caused by the re-downloading of every song...
  5. Of course... Actually, it's the other way round: PJ used to save all files always into the folder "mp3", but many people complained that they wanted to have single folders for artists/stations/genres etc. Just set filename.format=/%a - %t and the files will get saved into the mp3.archive.dir as "Artist - Title.mp3" Just take a look at the comment in the config file for learning about other variations of file names.
  6. Ok, no catfight here, let's behave like two adults! ;-) I just think it was a bit rude to call as all liars just because it is not yet working for you. And I think one shouldn't be rude if you expect others to help you... But sorry that I made fun of you. (And regarding the "people like yourself don't care about reading and entire thread"... I'm with PJ since the first alpha versions and I made the excperience that especially people that can't get PJ to run haven't read much of the posts here... ;) but enough self-defence now...) The link is still working for me and normally, FireFox should install the extension without anything else to do... Try to go directly to http://greasemonkey.mozdev.org/ and click onto "2. Install Greasemonkey". If you can get GM by no chance, try to open pandora.com in another tab and rip with PJ. Should work! If that doesn't do the trick, I'm afraid I don't know what else you could try. Maybe someone else has got an idea!
  7. 2 things: If you have last.fm posting on, a song will be added twice if you have to re-click onto the grab-button because of the "unable to rip MP3 unable to find file make sure you have Pandora running in a FIRFOX browser" issue that sometimes occurs. Another thing, as well regarding last.fm: Since several versions - so long I can't even remember since when exactly ;) - the timestamp of le last.fm submission is messed up! It's always one hour too fast! Oh and yeah the QuickMix "problem"... But that has already been discussed by someone else... ;) The question should be, are the songs supposed to go into a "QuickMix" directory/playlist or into the one of the station that currently got played by the QuickMix function? And as I see you got station names working! =) Did it work the way I suggested?
  8. don't spam me with pms, there are other people that might help you as well. you asked me which config file, and I told ya. Basta. -.-
  9. If the songs are incomplete, your internet connection is too slow. Shut down every filesharing (emule, bittorrent...) and messenger software (msn, icq, aim, yim...) and try again.
  10. wahaaaaaaaa he seems to be using IE or any other browser and he is WONDERING WHY PJ IS NOT WORKING! Never did "rofl" express that close what I feel like to do at the moment! :-P
  11. if you want the genre in the filenames, you have to edit the configuration file... There is a comment which will help you to adapt the filename!
  12. Try to click onto the grab button and wait... repeat that a view times and then tell us again if it works... Oh and remember the flash version thing... and... just read the other 500000 threads...
  13. Sure, you seem to have searched extremely exhaustive... :P
  14. @leeroy: I see you're working with a non-English version of Windows, but that can not be the problem... first: Not Pandora's Jar is making those folders, pandora.com is. And as well the numeric named files are from pandora. You even have them there when you use Pandora without PJ. next thing: Turn the last.fm stuff off, as it's completely buggy! Bio and stats don't work and timestamps are incorrect... For getting PJ to work, switch off all that unecessary stuff! (same for itunes thingy...) And maybe switch off CDDB lookup if you got it on. Are you using the standard configuration file? If not, try it with the standart before you adapt it! And have you tried clicking on the grab-button and seing if it works then?
  15. 1) Java != JavaScript ;-) 2) GreaseMonkey is a FireFox extension: http://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.org/ext...061017.0-fx.xpi install it and then install the userscript (the .js file, either open it and click onto "install user script' or right-click onto the link of the js-file and select 'install user script'!
  16. Any news? =) Or did you party too hard that night? ;) Happy 2007!
  17. After you have blocked JavaScript for pandora.com, you will have to allow JavaScript for localhost!
  18. Try the greasemonkey script someone posted... Works fine!
  19. Does it work when you leave mp3.archive.path empty or set it to / (just a slash) and set filename.format to D:/path/where/you/want/to/save/%a - %t ?? Try this and report if it works... Otherwise you will have to live with the mp3 folder until it's not longer hardcoded!
  20. first you will have to get the album name from the page of the song, let's say Imagine by John Lennon. http://www.pandora.com/music/album/df76c3f0b1f31a24 And there you have the image on the page, just filter the correct img-url and you can download the image. the function to add it should still be integrated from the old versions where it worked! you can filter the album-link from the song page just as you get the list of songs to receive the track number.
  21. I think you can by just editing mp3.archive.path! Or is the mp3 folder still created when you set the mp3.archive.path to something else than default? Never tested that... An the thing with the stations can easily be read out and I'm sure ColdFusion will implement that in one of his future releases!
  22. It's very easy to get the currently playing station: http://www.pandora.com/people/<yourpandorausername> on the left there is a box "Now Listening to <StationName>" And I wonder why Album image and album title are not (longer) working, as you get the album title on the page where you get the track number and there's as well an img-tag with the amazon albumcover!
  23. I use addblock aswell, but I think that pandora would host the files to play them trhough the flashplayer and count for their clients!
  24. no, neither station nor album. And no album image, which would be great to be reactivated in future versions if you find the time! Should be easier than filtering the tracks from the infosite, as there are not many img-tags and there are a view patterns which can be applied to the search of the string, like every string contains "/images/amazon", so that should be quite easy. 12-30@03:40:39 DEBUG Thread-2 server.Server - adding param: [name: action value: 'grab'] 12-30@03:40:39 DEBUG Thread-2 server.Server - adding param: [name: artist value: 'Central Line'] 12-30@03:40:39 DEBUG Thread-2 server.Server - adding param: [name: title value: 'Walking Into Sunshine'] 12-30@03:40:39 DEBUG Thread-2 server.Server - adding param: [name: album value: ''] 12-30@03:40:39 DEBUG Thread-2 server.Server - adding param: [name: genre value: ''] 12-30@03:40:39 DEBUG Thread-2 server.Server - adding param: [name: comment value: 'ripped by [PaNDoRas jAR] your source for listening pleasure'] 12-30@03:40:39 DEBUG Thread-2 server.Server - adding param: [name: year value: ''] 12-30@03:40:39 DEBUG Thread-2 server.Server - adding param: [name: cruise value: 'off'] 12-30@03:40:39 DEBUG Thread-2 server.Server - adding param: [name: albumImgLocaction value: ''] And I found out another thing: The track "Walking Into Sunshine" is correctly ripped as Track 1. But then there's another track, a remix, but the track is then saved as Track 16, which is the remix, not the actual song! 12-30@03:40:28 DEBUG Thread-2 util.CddbLookUp - ele: | 1. | Walking Into Sunshine | 12-30@03:40:28 DEBUG Thread-2 util.CddbLookUp - setting track: 1 12-30@03:40:28 DEBUG Thread-2 util.CddbLookUp - ele: 12-30@03:40:28 DEBUG Thread-2 util.CddbLookUp - ele: | 2. | I Need Your Love | Love | 12-30@03:40:28 DEBUG Thread-2 util.CddbLookUp - ele: 12-30@03:40:28 DEBUG Thread-2 util.CddbLookUp - ele: | 15. | Man At The Top | 12-30@03:40:28 DEBUG Thread-2 util.CddbLookUp - ele: 12-30@03:40:28 DEBUG Thread-2 util.CddbLookUp - ele: | 16. | Walking Into Sunshine [Larry Levan Mix] | 12-30@03:40:28 DEBUG Thread-2 util.CddbLookUp - setting track: 16 Thanks so much for your work, ColdFusion!
