I'm looking for a way to run a mysql server on my machine so i can test the webpages i build on the road without and internet connection. I have a web server that can run php but e107 (web site management I'm using) calls for a database. Yes i have looked threw google but to i didn't understand any of it. So what I'm looking for is basically a mysql server that will run on windows. preferably a GUI to

its not just for me. I plan on making a new domain name every time my school blocks it. So not only me but all my friends AT SCHOOL can use the sites. I'm going to change the name like every week/month depends on how fast the sites are taken down/blocked. I don't think tor will help in this situation

OK Ive been searching google for instructions on ow to create a proxy website. I'm not very experienced in php or cgi. i found a file that is exposed to create everything. so i have two questions. How can i run a file .cgi and how can i create a proxy site.

the modem is actully a modem/router i have embarq's 660 series. but it only has 1 cat5 port in back

Im am having a problem port forwarding to a desktop computer. I have a dsl modem that has pf and a wireless linskey router. The modem has an option to pf all the ports to an ip address.Well i figured i would pf from the modem straight to the desktop. But I was trying to vnc server and my friend couldn't connect. do i need to pf to the router and then from there to the computer? When i hook the modem straight to the computer it worked fine. So how can i do this right???

I found this site that said how to use a proxy address. I mean for example. http://proxysite:port/address or something but i can't find that site anymore. I don't want to access a proxy site like blastproxy.com because my school blocks those site within a day. The way i want to do it is use a proxy server like the ones listed proxy list. So that way i can use alot with out worrying about them blocking them.

I need a program that will tack my text messages from my phone to my computer. I have a ton of them and don't feel like typeing them o sending them to my email. Alo did you know with a usb data cable (which i have) you can connet to the inteernet through your cell phone. and is quicker than dial up it is about 216.2 kb/s its cool and easy travleing.

Im am having problems a dvd rw drive. It won't burn cds but will burn dvds. It won't even reconize the cds. I have updated the drivers and everthing. This all started when this computer was redone do to a virus. The burner didn't with the computer. Please help

i know as much about novell networks as the next guy but i think you have to do through the countrol counsol on the novell server! But im not sure. Try to find a program that can do it for you. There have been some command line ones but 4 some reson all of the ones i have tried have gone with the quote "crash and burned. " (didn't work at all) so if some one finds a way alot of people would be happy

i have an old ipod shuffle and i have been useing it to work as a thumb drive. The ipod part stoped working a long time ago but it has 512mb of space. i was wondering if i could set up a portable os or get windows to see it as an external harddrive. SO............That when ever i plug it in and change the bios on the computer i could but up the os on the drive.

no i didn't use a proxy server on that try. I wanted to know how to use the proxy servers so that i can say download a movie with out it showing my ip. or play a game with out it showing my real ip.
