  1. Looks like they have quality issues. Bouncing around the internet I see people with capacity problems and even flaky connectors.
  2. I've always heard the same thing. It will only draw as much as it needs. Hey, at least it will charge your iPad!
  3. So you're charging and powering the pineapple at the same time??
  4. Nanodots. It's only 6-8dBi. I built it back when wardriving was going hot and heavy. The standard antennas weren't holding up very well in Alaska's winters, and at the time external antennas were stupid expensive. So something like this? Biquad on a Dish dish.
  5. If the pins are removable, you might be able to reorder them, and leave the cts and rts taped back on the cable out of the way. I'd stick a meter on the power pins first though.
  6. Yep, I tested it, and it works. Turned off dnsspoof, hit a site on my test laptop, goes to site. Hit the wps button and wait a minutes, hit site and get the cat. They're not backwards on mine, though I haven't tried the reset button. I've been pretty leary of the reset buttons with any of the open router operating systems. Had to tear apart a few wrt's because of that damn button. Okay, I guess it's not working...
  7. And Sebkinne, and digininja are 5 hours ahead!
  8. It will start it, but not stop it, so just a heads up. I'm what most folks call an advance script-kiddy. I can modify one to do what I want it to, usually, but not create my own yet. :P
  9. Okay, I just rm'd where I shouldn't have... Could someone zip me up the /www directory?
  10. Okay, what I've done with the button so far... nano /etc/hotplug.d/button/50-wps change the code to this, #!/bin/sh /www/pineapple/dnsspoof.sh Tadaa!! Now you won't have to log into the box to turn on your Nyan Cat!! :P
  11. Hey Darren, what's with the electrical tape on your antenna connector?
  12. So here's the 50-wps script. if [ "$ACTION" = "pressed" -a "$BUTTON" = "wps" ]; then for dir in /var/run/hostapd-*; do [ -d "$dir" ] || continue hostapd_cli -p "$dir" wps_pbc done fi Shouldn't be too hard for someone to whip up an alternate script for it!
  13. Okay, here's a Mk4 question. What's the WPS button for?
  14. I wonder how many amp hours those cheap Chinese knock off drill batteries at Harbor Freight are? Ehhh, 1300mAh. Lame. Looks like a cheap source of batteries though.
  15. That's weird, I thought they all would. I'm running Ubuntu on a 16Gb sd card on my 701.
  16. I've only ever seen black. Model paint might stick better.
  17. I've not seen anything with tab completion on Android. I use Android Terminal Emulator.
  18. I know how you feel. Mine is still on the truck for delivery. I'm working today though, so that helps.
  19. All the chips are on the backside of the usb connector.
