  3. Duh, I'll double check, sorry. I just saw 'user.warn' and guessed something was wrong. It also shows in the Date coloum of the client table. I've also just spent an hour realising that the rb scripts for the option menu need the right permissions! I've never touched Ruby before but have edited create_option_list.rb to show which scripts have been used. EDIT I've: config dhcp lan option interface lan option start 100 option limit 150 option leasetime 12h
  4. Ruby Nmap::Parser Library http://rubynmap.sourceforge.net/ This would be a great addition for OS/service finger printing
  5. I'm getting errors when clients try and connect, they don't get an IP assigned and the connection drops Jan 1 00:22:51 OpenWrt user.warn kernel: KARMA: Node [00:23:7a:44:b4:6c] associating to ssid ["dlink"]
  6. I'm looking at the dsniff stuff right now, I didn't think I was going to be able to find time due to a nightmare client always on my back, but I have, I'm just flashing a fon now. The upsideturnet stuff I was really refering to the replacement of images without using mogrify, so it would be very simular to renderman's infamous demos using airpwn. BTW, the idea for capturing the first 2 parts of a handshake using jasager is an awesome one! I've been thing about how to modify the fon 2.0 to include internal storage and hook up a GPS reciver to it. EDIT I can now confirm that dsniff and urlsnarf works great on openwrt, I'll carry on here.
  7. Backtrack has the tools to do the same and more than the fon can do.
  8. Well after thinking that I wouldnt be able to find any time after all, I have, I can now confirm that the dsniff tools do work on openwrt. I'll now install the jasager and have a look at the module system. I'm guessing that the portscan module might be the best example?
  9. ipkg install dsniff I'll look into what can be done with it and the jasager interface module system (which looks simple enough) on Tuesday as I have a day off.
  10. What about something like this running on the fon? Oh and maybe dsniff or simular to log plain text passwords displayed in the jasager web interface. I know that ettercap will do these to things with filters and already logs plaintext but it would be great to have the fon do it. I might have a look at it when I find the time.

  12. Is it compatible with DD-WRT or OpenWRT? Which chipset if so?
  13. Did you resize the partition from Vista first?

    help me - please

Sounds like a crap mate! I'd keep it live and monitor network usage and what methods of authentication he could be using.
  16. Awesome its been updated to support GPS in beta also. :)
  17. Just a quick note to say that you should be able to shrink the Vista partition using the management console. Then install whatever distro (i would recommend Ubuntu for beginners) to the unallocated space.
  18. Blank the Administrator account password with ntpasswd and login with that http://home.eunet.no/pnordahl/ntpasswd/
  19. sysinternals ntpasswd nirsoft suite virus/spyware removal tools
  20. Agreed slitaz is great, I had it running on my Eee 901 for a while, switched back to Ubuntu 9.04 now though.
