I'm interested in the ability to make hardware and apply the desired software to it, whether it be home code or open-source. Does any one have resources that they themselves have used to obtain this skill? I will be posting my progress in this thread even if there are no replies.

Hi all, I don't suppose anyone has a copy of Merak Mail Server v8.9.1 lying around at all? Want to have a play with testing the XSS vuln described here: goo.gl/3goGL6 Icewarp's website links to old software, but they are all unfortunately dead. :-(

Hello, I am trying to replicate Shannon's aircraft tracking procedure in Hak5 1525.2. I'm pretty close to getting it working, but sadly ADS-B# no longer exists. Can you recommend an alternative? I also tried RTL1090 but it doesn't seem to work with ADS-B Scope, unless I set it up wrong. The RTL1090 program runs; just not sure if I need to switch on a certain setting to make the map show up on ADS-B Scope. Thanks! :-) Update: The RTL1090 beta version has a simplified scope program that works beautifully. However, I am still curious to see if ADS-B Scope will work with the RTL1090 program since it has a nicer layout.

Hi! I just got my new rubber ducky and I wanted to get the duck to look like "a real USB device" when you plug it in. I got my inspiration from the HAK5´s own video (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JON76zbiL1o). The thing that i dont seem to understand is how I "install" the code to my rubber ducky. I am looking at the page as we speak but I dont understand how I am supposed to do. Do I just move the " c_duck_v2.1.hex" file to the ducky disk or is it something that I am missing? Pls help me, I am new to this. Be kind in the comments pls

Hi, i'm a Master student in electronics and i pretend to implement a SDR system however i'm still not sure if the best option would be buy or build one. The major difficulty need for the system is the frequency range that must start on 10MHz at least. I have looked for the Hack RF One, but i found out is necessary to apply an antenna to the device and in this case the frequency range will change. Do you know any possible adaptation to the Hack RF ONE to make it possible to have a frequency range starting closer to 10 MHz? I have been also searching for the main builders like National Instruments and Ettus Research but the only option suitable it would be the USRP N200 with the daughterboard UBX40RF but the price will be like 2400$ So i'm asking if you have any tip for use Hack RF in a frequency start about 10 MHz or if you know any other possibly suitable device. In the case i don't find any suitable SDR device, i will try to build one so any for starting that it would be also a good help. Thanks.

Help, I made this keylogger software in which I want to make a Rubber Ducky Keylogger automatic. Is there anyway for me to make the duck run the keylogger or just simplycan anyone give a keylogger payload P.S. I don't want the script to download some files and stuff just plain run

I recently made the switch from windows to full time linux. Everything is going well except when i want to use my webcam for recording a video. I have used serveral including cheese which crashes when i hit the record button and guvcview which shows a black screen. Any other options that might help?

Is there any way for me to inject a payload into the duck that records keystrokes automatically, or at least run a software that i made, a keylogger, automatically upon insertion? If there is can you give the codes? Thank you.

What cloud storage software would you suggest? I use the dell latitude E7240. I need a cloud storage solution for my data. CloudBacko software also looks ok. What do you think? Any Suggestion?

So I have been playing around with a rtl sdr for a few days and really love how much it can do using mostly software. So I am now wondering if a software package could be created that interfaces a computer with an antenna and run pineapple on it. It could either work through USB radio converters like the RTL_SDR or onboard wireless cards since many new motherboards come with them. If this is possible I'm sure it would get a lot more people interested in pineapple and experimenting with it. Personally software like this would help me out a great deal since my motherboard already has two sma connections on the back that I could use. I think this could really help get more people into pineapple and expanding the hak5 community. Any idea if this is possible @Sebkinne ? If anyone has any comments about this please share them.
