hezakiahyoder
So I recently acquired one of these: http://www.sandisk.com/products/usb/dualdrive/?gclid=Cj0KEQjwqe-rBRCv_J6qs6isp6EBEiQAmbctFtHJ882N09c-28MKcuayrIhHK5ThPcFfuP7-CikmcYcaAl168P8HAQ What I want to do is have the flash drive copy all of the information from the phone when connected. I know a hack like this is possible exploiting the autorun feature on Windows, but I have limited experience with Android. Does anyone know how/if this could be done? Oli
My gut instinct is no, not a chance.
cooper
Since Vista, Windows demands a user's OK before doing autorun, and for quite some time before that, the general consensus was that while it's understood why they created it, it was a very naive idea. I find it very hard to believe that a much newer OS like Android would decide to implement a similar, broken feature.
Mr-Protocol
Not to mention all the good bits are protected by root access on Android now. It would have to be a side load ipk which means ADB would have to be on and again, no root, not much data.
