Harddrive Posted April 5, 2015 Posted April 5, 2015 I maybe used my MK5 like 5-10 times since I got it. I find it's rebooting it self when the power cord is moved slightly. Could I have a defective unit? Quote
Harddrive Posted April 5, 2015 Author Posted April 5, 2015 I must say, this thing is a piece of JUNK! Right now it just hanged on me and had to unplug and replug it back in. Quote
Harddrive Posted April 5, 2015 Author Posted April 5, 2015 (edited) I think it's a lose power connector...or the usb power cord... Edited April 6, 2015 by Harddrive Quote
J5x86 Posted April 6, 2015 Posted April 6, 2015 I have the same problem with mine, it works fine when I use the pineapple juice battery so I would say its the power supply. Quote
Harddrive Posted April 6, 2015 Author Posted April 6, 2015 Mine only messes up when I move it around. Quote
fringes Posted April 6, 2015 Posted April 6, 2015 What happens when you use the wall adapter power supply or a different cable? It sounds like the power plug on the Mk5 might be bent out of shape, but a damaged cable could cause that too. You just have to troubleshoot and identify the problem. At this point, you still don't know if it's the cable, or a connection at either end. Quote
