They have them on Amazon.

I've looked high and low and can't seem to find any on amazon. I am finding the AP121 model not the AP121U model. I also tried to search for the Hornet-UB.

I have ordered from this company several times. They are legit.

They seem to have the best price and everyone is linking to them. Thanks

I think this is the amazon listing you are looking for:

http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00A8E4I42

I mistakenly bought one of these confusing it with a next-gen Alfa AP-51. Since I couldn't find a manual for it, or figure out how to make it use my ALFA adapter by itself, I had been using a Raspberry Pi to bridge the two.

The model number is AP121U; If it really is possible to turn it into a wifi-pineapple somehow then maybe it wasn't a bad buy after all.

If you bought the one from the Amazon link, you can indeed flash it with the Pineapple firmware.

The only thing you will need is an appropriate serial cable (USB-UART 3.3v Adapter). Then you can follow these instructions - see the "Clean flash" section.

I don't mean to thread hijack too badly ... But I ended up with the usb-less model because I'm a noob. Going to try the clean flash method unless someone warns me it won't work. Will post results.

Also wondering if usb mod would be possible. I can soldier. From the pictures looks like my board is missing a couple capacitors at the sub port end.
