barry99705
Tried a different pigtail for my pineapple. All I had handy was some parts out of an old cisco aeronet I took apart years ago. I think my neighbors have a visio tv... 172.16.42.174.40366 > 172.16.42.1.53: 20687+ A? gallery.tv.widgets.yahoo.com Nope, no open ports... condor
Did this significantly increase signal strength?
barry99705
Seems to have helped. I can still connect from across my house, 3 or 4 walls and a full closet in the way. It's being powered off a pineapple juice battery pack, not the wall wart. I have more rp-tnc style antennas anyway.

BigDook
Is there a trick to opening the Pineapple case? I wanted to have a look inside, and seem to be only able to prise open 1 side (antenna port) but it doesn't unclip from the USB port end? BigDook
DOH! I lifted 1 of the back feet up, and didn't see a screw, so assumed it was just clipped into place, and never checked the front feet :) LMAO Cheers Peter

How funny would that be to pwn someone via their tv? "Just swingin' my dick!" + auto scrolling = winning!
barry99705
Yea. Some TVs have network accessible settings pages. We spent a few hours one Shmoocon messing with one in the bar. Didn't change anything, but there were a few things that would have gotten us kicked out that we could have done.
