DarkStar851
Care to forward that to me Brandon? I was lurking through the source code, they're certainly aware of what we're doing. We got a little shout out in the form of session ID generation.

DarkStar851
Hmm, really? This is my first time taking a look at their event trigger back end. I found an open-source project that has a working generator, if you wanna have a look. The code is messy as hell and in C++ (never mind, it's Visual Basic. >_<) though. http://www.scilor.com/grooveshark-downloader.html Edited January 15, 2011 by DarkStar851
awas
scilors grooveshark downloader is not opensource, he may think it is, but its free as beer in a supermarket. so you need to take a c# disassembler. line 166 displays whats going on to generate the key you need for communication. everything else can be found on the internet (eg. google for getstreamkeyfromsongidex)

Brandon
Hows it comming with the new v2 api ? was going to pm you but apparently im not allowed to use the private messaging system anymore.... Is there any other way I can privately talk to you?
delboy
Is there any other way I can privately talk to you? Yes we can talk to via msn or gmail, i got your pm (i cannot read it here or reply), but the notification message in my email had the code to replace in it, so i have copied the sring & replaced it, but the start session link is now giving an error page (you can see youself by vising the session start page i gave you before), i would rather not post my email here, so if you can pm me you email, then we just have to hope that the pm is delivered to my email, even if i cannot view it onsite, otherwise one of us is going to have to convert our emails to base64 or something (to protect our email from spam) and post in a message. I checked the google project as i remember seeing an email with your name in it so i have emailed there just incased, its a working email for you....
