socket1 Posted September 4, 2009 Share Posted September 4, 2009 For anybody who cares about details: Desktop: Intel Core 2 Duo E8400 4GB DDR2 1066 RAM Video: 8800GTS 512 C: Drive: Western Digital 1TB Green Raid 10 Using 4 500gb drives on an Intel controller inside my computer an LSI Megaraid 320-2 SCSI controller controls the box with power supply on top and the SAS the SAS box has 12 250gb drives in raid 5 and the box with the power supply has two 70gb 10,000rpm disks in raid 1. Currently sitting at 22.5 TB and was teh first 50 drive home file server in Australia.
