tabath Posted March 7, 2009 Posted March 7, 2009 Its that time where my hosting plan is up for renewal - its with dreamhost at the moment - must say they have been really good BUT I don't use all the facilities, storage or bandwith so am looking at something cheaper as the renewal cost for 2 years is $190 which equates to £134 gb pounds for me at the moment. Hae found a plan with 123.co.uk for £2 per month working out at £48 for the 2 years which will do what I want. I'm just curious what other folks on here are paying and what recommendations you have. Maybe email Dreamhost billing or their customer service and see if they offer a cheaper, less "facility" option. Couldn't hurt to ask. Quote
h3%5kr3w Posted March 8, 2009 Posted March 8, 2009 yah, usually host providers are pretty flexible with things like this. Quote
MRGRIM Posted March 8, 2009 Posted March 8, 2009 Well, since Hak5 started doing GoDaddy promotions I've moved a lot of my domains to them. Another host I've used a lot in the past is 34sp.com, they are British based Quote
tabath Posted March 8, 2009 Author Posted March 8, 2009 Will try dreamhost see if they can do a cheaper plan - its easier to stay where I am if they do - thanks for the response Quote
dr0p Posted March 8, 2009 Posted March 8, 2009 x10Hosting is actually a pretty good free host that allows you to use your own domains. It's a lot cheper to pay $8/yr for a domain than $100+ for hosting. Quote
